Finally coming in to share my not too great CS experience with the lipsticks from this collection.
I ordered within minutes of them going up on the site; however, when my lipsticks arrived a few days later they were super melted even though it was only around 85 degrees the week they came, and I met the UPS man at the door so they weren't outside at all. I called MAC right away and although the lipsticks were already sold out, I requested a reship if possible. They put the reship request in and told me I would hear back within 24 hours if it was approved. I called two more times over three days (no one called me) before I managed to get a supervisor to approve the request. At that time, they still had both CYY and Moxie in stock and said they would ship out within 48 hours. I had to unexpectedly go out of town, so I called again to see if they would arrive in time, but they STILL had not shipped out so I asked if I could get them shipped to another address or have the shipment delayed. I was told yes, the shipment could be delayed, but no, I could not get them shipped to a different address. They were supposed to ship out last Friday and I would have received them either Monday or today, but when I didn't get them today, I called again only to be informed that there were no more CYY and no one bothered to inform me that my order wasn't shipping. After dealing with a CS associate who knew nothing, I got a supervisor on the phone.
The supervisor apologized multiple times and told me there was nothing she could do because there were NONE left. She also confirmed that when I asked for it to be shipped to a different address and was told 'no', that was not policy and I COULD have had it shipped there and I should have been advised that delaying the shipment would not hold my order, and instead would put my lipsticks back into inventory. She's giving me a refund for CYY and sending me a Love Forever PLLC gratis, but I'm still VERY disappointed in my CS experience this time around. The supervisor was very helpful, but I know I've called at least five times regarding this order because I was so concerned about not getting my lipsticks and it still got messed up (the supervisor also told me I shouldn't have had to follow up so much and the ball was apparently dropped multiple times).
At least I'm getting Moxie!! And I have a VERY melted CYY with a VERY different finish than I remember, so that's better than nothing I guess.
