ughh all the hype on the lip tar made me get it!!! blahhhhhhhh
Luckily i had a free shipping code from last year (yes last year)
i got it last year when i went into sephora and asked for an item that was an on line exclusive (but it didn't say that on line and i double checked it!)
anyways, the lady said to get it on line and i told her i came to the store to avoid paying for shipping so she gave me a code but i didn't used it cuz i ended up changing my mind
so i tried it and it worked, the only thing is that its standard shipping but idc it was free shipping lol!
so yeah if you ladies are like me and you hate paying for shipping try going to the store first
it says it'll last a week but it lasted over a year

I'm confused. How can Nylon look so different on you two? It looks pretty on you both, but I really hope it'll look closer to CYY on me.

It could be the lighting. The color is very different in my swatch pictures because of the light. I'm also surprised that Piarpreet said her Nylon looks more like a bright Girl About Town. My Nylon definitely isn't that dark and is pretty much the same color as the new CYY.

She is using a color saturated camera, I am using my laptop camera. I will take closer to real life picture comparisons in a little bit

I just got my nylon! I must say i LOVE it. It's actually very close to the new CYY in color, but it has that neon quality that the new one is lacking, especially on my pigmented lips. And especially in the sunlight. I will post swatch pics ASAP. But I am SOO happy that I bought this, because i was a tad disappointed about the new CYY (I don't have the original to compare to, but I have tried it on before.).

Thanks for the compliments & welcoming me!
I took a couple of more pictures to hopefully clear up the difference between Nylon & CYY. All pictures in natural light with my iphone 4s.



Nylon is on the left and CYY is the on right



Nylon is on the left and CYY is on the right

Nylon is just slightly darker, but I think just as bright as CYY.

Wow, I wonder if there are very big batch inconsistencies with Nylon, or maybe CYY... because my nylon, while 10x more pigmented, is actually a tad bit lighter pink, than my CYY. whomp whomp.

It's sad, but I'm so quick to blame the inconsistencies on MAC. It may not be the case, but that's where my mind immediately went.

I was told last week at a counter that Lightscapade hasn't officially been made perm, but they keep sending it to the counters, so it's available for now at least and there's talk of making it permanent (and I'm assuming that means putting it online) if it keeps selling well.

Thanks love. I live chatted w a rep from mac's website, and she said it is indeed permanent.. but she doesn't know why its not showing up on the website. She did mention that it was sold out right now on the website. I went to my Dillard's counter, and it wasn't on display but in a drawer w the old collection stuff! The MA didn't even know what I was talking about when I asked her.. and showed her where it was. And i only knew cause I was looking in the drawer yesterday.

Off topic question but can you only upload on the computer or from iPhone as well cause I just can't do it and I've read a few people posting pics from their phones. Kind of a dumb question lol but help!! I'm still w my avatar because of my move my computer isn't hooked up yet

Ok, here is my nylon comparison to the new CYY. I used about 5-6 layers of CYY in both the lip swatch and the arm swatch to get the same opacity as nylon, keep that in mind! (I have REALLY pigmented mauve toned lips though, so it might not take as many for you).

On camera they look almost identical but in person, my nylon is a brighter pink, a tiny bit less fuschia/magenta in color, and more neon (I'm so happy about this aspect!!!) than the 2012 Candy Yum Yum I have. If you enlarge the lip swatch picture, then tilt your screen to look at it from different angles, you might be can catch the differences better.


my bare lips. They have that mauve toned pigment to them, so they always alter lipstick colors. Not the case with Nylon!!

And that stain! That came from being on my skin for only a few minutes and I tried to wash it off, talk about pigment! My arm is a little lighter than NC15 at the moment.

sorry I don't mean to spam my blog mark everywhere, but I had one of my pictures taken and used somewhere, so now I have to mark everything. Grr.

I had to upload my iPhone pics to my computer to post them, I didn't see an easier way to do it. :shock:

I got Nylon today. I love it. It is bright, great texture and very pigmented. It stained my brush. For me it's not an exact dupe to CYY, but it's damn close. It's brighter. For kicks I put a bit of it on top of CYY, in the center of my lips and it's a bit lighter and as I said before, brighter. I'm tempted to buy another, but I don't think I will. I think I'll order different lip tar shades. I tried these things years ago when I didn't really know what I was doing and of course, I hated it. I mean, I tried to apply it straight out of the tube. :lol:

I'm SOOO tempted to buy another one. I really, really like this color!
