Once I took these pictures I realized nylon is darker and has more purple to it. It also seemed like it looked brighter when I first put it on, after it settled maybe 20-30 mins it looked a little darker...maybe?

Hey thanks for this! I didn't even know anyone answered me til I went google image searching! I thought...somebody stole my idea! Then I clicked on it and it was here, and ure picture! I was just wondering for others looking for moxie, because that 06 looks horrible on me! thanks shontay. i'm quite intrigued by these lip tars, so i might give it a try. i have the old cyy, but for me the problem is less the dryness than the colour! i thought maybe the sheen of the liquid would diffuse the light a little or something....
does sephora normally carry the other lip tars too? the canadian site only has nylon at the moment, so if i want to try other shades, i'll have to place two separate orders from different places...

Can I just say that I am wearing CYY right now. This is a "last" attempt to make it work. It is gritty. Not sure how else to explain it. It applies like an expired frost lipstick (I know because I refuse to throw out my creme de la femme l/s even tho I need to). I thought it was just my lips but..idk... both moxie and CYY are giving me application issues. They dont really smell like vanilla more like plastic or silly puddy. Is anyone else having this issue? hmmmmmm Still, I really like the color of CYY and may have to invest in one of the dupes. I do not want the milani rose hip i know that much. Tried that before when I was trying to find a dupe for Schiap. I don't like the smell.
I have not been able to wear NARS lip products because the formula does not agree with my lips (?). It just doesn't. HOWEVER, I would totally buy and wear nars l/s as opposed to this cyy. The application is just horrid. The one day I wore it to work I basically dabbed it over fully lined lips so the issue wasn't so severe.
What's up with this? Is it me or is this an epic FAIL???!

Have u ever tried a revlon matte? The texture of this cyy reminds me of that. It (to me) feels like it has alot of silica powder to make it matte. I just figured that revlon did it so they wouldn't have to add as much pigment, but its like the cyy has that feel and the extra pigment. I have noticed that the cyy has this stain it leaves, and the lipstick sinks into the lines but that stain is still there...I guess thats how I would explain it...BUT my barry m doesn't do that. It leaves a stain of course because its so bright, but its after u take it off, but it feels thick and creamy and it does have a little tug that cyy doesn't have, but it doesn't wear like the cyy, it doesn't sink into the lines like cyy does. It's also doesn't need as many swipes as cyy does, so it will last longer also. Aww thanks..my hair is a mess...I seen it after I had already put the next lip color on so i didnt want to have to re-swatch the occ, but it went up for the next 2...but its always nice to hear u look pretty! It doesn seem that way in the picture doesn't it? But it seems pretty neon in person..Idk..I swear it gets darker, its like a trickster tar!you're so pretty! and I love your hair!

I have never tried revlon matte... but i even tried to apply the CYY with a lip brush and it just seemed to move the product around on my lips. like, instead of spreading it evenly it was almost like I was wiping it off. well maybe it's just my lips-i have a lot of fine lines. Moxie applies better but after a short while it kind of disappears from the center of my lips. I just figured these colors were so rich that they would cling to the lips and have amazing staying power.... hmmm

It's not just u...I noticed the 1st day. I happen to glance over into a mirror and seen my lips looked darker..I thought I applied it wrong or my lips just were dry but I figured out after a couple uses that.after a few mins on me it just looks like a stain with the actual neon lipstick part has sunk down into my lines, and I don't have a lot of lines. I have several neon matte lippies so it doesn't bother me, but if I was counting on this to be my one neon matte lippie I would be just as frustrated!

Neondust they ALL look good on you! Pretty! I can't wait to get my occ, I as well have so many cyy dupes but never tried the Kat Von D. Where do they carry those? Lol I don't really need to know cuz I have so many compared to cyy, but I didn't get the new cyy to compare w my old one.

my neclace and one of my bangles (and my purse, which is not shown) are true neon. Nylon has neon qualities but its not neon pink. its like a whale...fish qualities but not quite....lol

I don't mind mattes. They're not my favorite, but I like them now and I own several of them by Mac and other brands. CYY is by far the driest of them all, so I'm not especially fond of that one.
