http://www.maccosmetics.com/product/shaded/166/809/Products/Lips/Lipglass/Pro-Longwear-Gloss-Coat/index.tmpl this is the gloss I use (Clear, not the Mirror one with pearl) I haven't tried the clear lipglass, but that might be a better value, the PLW wears pretty well, though. I bought the tube I have now last year when I went on my first MAC haul rampage with permanent line items lol. I've been using disposable doe foot wand applicators because otherwise the little brush would get all mucked up and affect the color of the gloss inside the tube, too. I use them for my other lipglasses as well, keeps things a little more sanitary. I get those in bulk from lecosmetique.com
For the mattes I always need my P+P, and satins, too. Amplified, Lustre, Glaze, Cremesheen, I don't need P+P. Satins and mattes settle into my lip lines, but nothing a lip brush can't fix! I usually apply lip balm in the morning before I do my makeup, then do the lips last after they've been hydrating lol.
