That's interesting, cucumbers, because before Pink Friday came out I was hearing a ton about Nicki and seeing her all over the place. Now I couldn't tell you what she's been up to. She doesn't seem as popular to me. I might just be old though. Now days when I see celebs on magazine covers or in my emails I'm always asking who they are. It's sad.

That's the bad thing about "celebs" most of the people you see on the front page are just people getting their 15 minutes and will be gone or fade eventually.

Nicki was definitely a well, well known performer before her lipstick came out. I remember people on twitter going nuts over her, then the lipstick came out and all hell broke loose trying to get that durn thing. I don't see that with Azealia really at all. But that doesn't mean the lipstick won't sell out just as fast.

She was promoting her first album then! I think it came out maybe two or three weeks before the lipstick. Now, though I think her 'fandom' is waning and she herself is declining in popularity, but her music still gets played a lot of top 40 and hip-hop stations and even my mother, who knows nothing about popular music, could pick Nicki Minaj out of a line-up if she had to. She's def a household name now, not a breakout star like she was then.

More importantly...... How much longer until this lipstick goes up!

Yes, that's exactly why I like her, to me her whole style is definitely reminiscent of the era of people like Lil Kim, Missy, Foxy in the mid/late 90s.
Admittedly I don't pay much attention to the lyrics, because I'm still struggling with my English and I don't understand all of it. Since English isn't my 1st language I don't mind the explicit lyrics. If I would listen to the same lyrics in German I would probably be like ---->

I played around today trying to see what a dark purple would look like on me, because I never tried a color like that. Found a purple eye pencil in my stash that I bought last year and never use and tried it on my lips. It didn't look as bad as I though it would, I actually liked it. Gives a totally different look to the whole face, and I wasn't even wearing any other makeup besides the purple lips.

I used to do this all the time - wear purple eyeliner on my lips and add a little gloss. That's how I know I can pull the colour off.

The last time I attempted the look was about 3-4 years ago. I dressed as an evil fairy for a kid group Hallowe'en party I had planned. Large goth purple wings, fitted black velvet sequined bustier type shirt with sheer black sleeves and shoulders, long purple eyelashes and a deep purple mouth.One of the dads did a double take and came over to tell me that he knew he was being completely inappropriate but that I looked hot and that I was rocking the Domme vibe. I smiled and told him that his kids fees didn't cover that and that he couldn't afford my rates.

He still smiles at me when I run in to him now and then at Walmart.

I'm wearing Cyber sheered over some balm today, but it's a major PITA to apply evenly.

Even is slow ole Tampa Nicki was being played in 2009 regularly no less...people were loving her.

But anyways, hope this lippie shows up soon. Tired of this waiting game.

I waited up last night because I got confused. I don't know if I will have the energy to do it tonight. I keep stalking the site with hopes it will be released before I head home from work. I will have to pray if it isn't up bye 5pm tonight it will wait until tomorrow morning so I can stalk again.

I don't know. If it will sell out quickly she's not that popular and I just heard of her last week just because the Lillie was coming. Nicki on the other hand was gaining her popularity at the time and she was with young money lil Wayne and that right there will automatically make her popular. I don't know whot youngrapunxel is with.

Thanks for posting this. The problem is, though, that LC has been giving wrong information so many times.

Which is why I have all the evidence, so if Mac decides to cancel orders after the fact, CS will have to respond to why we were given the wrong information in the first place. Mac CS seems to be pretty good, so JUST IN CASE they cancel orders with 4 or less, one would think that they would be willing to reinstate them when presented with documentation. Maybe. Hopefully.

The main issue would be that the product is most likely to be sold out until the problem is solved. But it's certainly good to keep hard evidence. It can't hurt.
