The La Provocante has sold out and has been removed from Chanel's website. A couple of people in another thread said their pre-orders were canceled. Will Chanel restock it? I don't have experience with how they handle limited edition items.
Just saw that it's on backorder.

Its just unacceptable service. They didnt even take my order number, just said that they cant help, and they will not attempt to help going forward. Why have a pre-sale if you are not going to have the merchandise? They were so rude. I cant even believe it. I was a manager for a retail company for some time and I would not DARE dream of telling someone that I cant help them if I could. I am really disappointed.
It is unacceptable. I would ask to speak to a supervisor and complain. You could also call Nordstrom Seattle and see if you can still order it through them if you want it. Tressa is the manager and she provides top notch customer service.

Try calling the Chanel counter in Bal Harbor Florida. They will take your order over the phone and ship it to you. They still have some in stock! :)
Thanks. I already made my pre-order last week and my package will be delivered tomorrow, so my order hasn't been canceled. I was more so asking for people who had their orders canceled. I'm still new to Chanel and don't know how they handle limited edition releases or if they offer restocks or not.

Like I said before, I'd rather shop with a company that appreciates my interest in their product and who is willing to help no matter how much I spend. I had a problem with one of my MAC orders earlier this year, and they sent me out another one. No problem, no hassle, just said Okay we'll get you another one. Nordstrom...no problem, no hassle

OMG they have the worst customer service ever!!! I'd rather give my money to MAC to be honest. I called twice and neither of the people wanted to help me with my order being cancelled. I called the store in florida that is close to me and they were willing to ship, but since I was a first time customer they couldnt do the order for me. This is ridiculous. All I want is a dang $32.50 lipstick!
ugh sometimes the Chanel counters are picky about new customers and charge sends. Do you want me to call and order it? I'm already an existing customer.

There's no excuse for rudeness, that's for sure, but if they were sold out they couldn't have sent you another one. Hopefully they fulfilled the preorders according to when they were placed and the ones that were cancelled were the last ones placed. They should have been apologetic about being unable to fulfill your preorder and they should have informed you that you could place another order for the backordered product. One thing we've all noticed on here is that the people who answer the phone are often not informed about things by corporate. They have no idea when a collection is going to be online, for example, until it goes up - just like us. Since this is the first time they've ever done preorders to my knowledge I'd be willing to bet they're getting alot of grief on the phone for things they had nothing to do with, and they may not have known about the eventual restock at the time you called. Again, that is no excuse for rudeness.

Are there any swatches of this lipstick anywhere?

Wow. Sorry for the terrible service. That would piss me off beyond belief. I hope it doesn't turn you off to Chanel, though b/c I've had nothing but positive experiences. Unfortunately rotten people can turn you off a brand which is ridiculous b/c you should be the one going out of the way to keep old customers and bring in new ones. Some people don't belong in the service industry. So, I skipped these sets. I only have one Chanel nail polish (June) and it's hard to work with. Maybe because it's a light, pastel type of color, but it made me hold off on all other Chanel polishes. Plus, I don't like dark colors on my hand b/c it makes my hands look old (in my mind anyway). I am interested in that nude/beige lippy, but I'm afraid it would look crazy on me in person. Oh, well.

My UPS guy left my package with the neighbor who is never home yesterday. Even worse, I was actually home then. I keep telling him he has to ring the door bell. I will never hear that super light knock if I'm in another room. Even worse than that. I stayed in the front room with no tv until I think about 6 pm and then gave up that he was coming today. The delivery status says he came at 5:48 but I'm pretty sure I was there until 6 but I'll give him the benefit of the doubt. Now today he comes and again if I wasn't walking past the door at the time, I would never have heard that light knock. So I told him again to ring the bell and not to leave my packages with that particular neighbor. I told him, I would be home for my delivery by 3 pm tomorrow so we shall see if I get my Chanel pre-order which is due tomorrow. My other big Chanel box is with the neighbor. Why didn't Chanel just send everything together? They obviously had the product in stock if they could send the pre-order 2 days after the regular order.

Just got my L Infedel ls & polish. GORGEOUS!!!! both of them. The lipstick is a rose berry & feels sooo smooth & soft on my lips. Divine texture.

Yep, I love the pink lipstick too....and Provocation np, which is prettier in person than in swatches I've seen. I'm giving the pink np to a friend as part of her birthday gift & am pretty sure she will love it.

Congrats elegant-one!! I swatched all three sets yesterday evening but I only came away with the Provocation set. The other 2 didnt work on me but I guessed that would be the case, better for my pocket though lol!!

Oh you know what those heathen monkeys did? Sent me the damn sample and no lipstick. I returned that mofo. No pleasant words right now. In any language.
