That's definitely a purple that leans a little blue, not neutral or red-violet. It has a slightly muddy or muted tone via a little black or grey.
I do wonder what color it is.

I know she loves Mac's Rebel, but that is far and away from the trend purple we are all after now .
Although I find Rebel to be gorgeous , especially with a gloss over...It leaves a pretty stain on my lips after I wipe it off.
This looks like that but a bit more metallic ... Magenta liner as a base , Cyber over it and Violetta patted in the center...

Eeek. I don't like Rihanna. I probably wouldn't buy the product if they collaborated with her. and I'm probably the only one here who doesn't like her, lol. story of my life!
(however, I do like whatever lippie she's rocking tonight.)

That is ridiculous!!! I know that they say that it takes one or two days to process the order before it gets shipped out, but I would still complain and ask for a $5 credit for shipping. It sucks that they're shipping orders out that were for standard free shipping.

I think they slathered it on a little too thick on Azalea Banks, but I do like the idea of a sheer wash of pale violet on the eyes to go with YR. I'd wear Blue Orbit EDES or that new EL Cyber Eyes color Arctic Sky with it for sure, but I'd only use liner in the water lines and leave out the fake lashes, with some Vintage Grape on the cheeks.
Finally, I think I've made up my mind on this gal's music. I like the beats a lot more than her rapping, sad to say. She seems perky, but honestly, not as much personality as many others who have come before her. Lately I've become completely addicted to this Korean girl pop/dance group 2NE1. I saw their live show the other week and it was just total non-stop high energy, with great dancing, fun personalities, the costumes all designed by Jeremy Scott and very off the wall, and they have the best damn makeup and manicures out of Asia for sure.

I'm giving them a call a tomorrow. A tracking number finally appears on MAC's site. Only a label has been created, but it says delivery is scheduled for Monday. To make matters worse, I found this shipping info on the website. It says 2nd Day orders should be processed the SAME DAY if the order is placed before 3pm. I placed my order around 7am on Wednesday.

when i saw the carine picture i was like WTF. the color is pretty but the formula is a bitch.you definitely need p&p, liner and lots of blotting.

It is amazing how color can look so different all over the board... Sigh...
If I don't get the Chanel one or this one... I might wait to see if MAC pulls out anymore plums/purples in the next two or three months...
