I am glad u found a way to make it work. May I ask what skin tone u r? I'm about nc20 but might still be a bit darker from summer. Thx.

i dont know in mac. i use the chanel vitalumire aqua in b30, and b20 for the sick paleness that i have when i have a uc flare especially in the winter.

edit: right now im using the matlumier in like 40. but im kind of toasted from the pool. right now i look like the shades of you blogger the skin tone not her face. if that makes sense. i know she uses the matlumiere in 40.

No worries. Sorry you have to deal with uc tho. Hopefully it won't bother you this year. Thank you for your answer.

I wasn't expecting it to be as sheer either (sheer isn't something I associate with the Amplified finish) but I actually quite like it. The sheerness makes it more wearable for me, given my deathlike pallor.

I'm giving them a call a tomorrow. A tracking number finally appears on MAC's site. Only a label has been created, but it says delivery is scheduled for Monday. To make matters worse, I found this shipping info on the website. It says 2nd Day orders should be processed the SAME DAY if the order is placed before 3pm. I placed my order around 7am on Wednesday.

"Processed" only means that a shipping label will be created. It does not mean that it will be shipped out on that day or any time soon. It's just the information/label that will be sent to the delivery company.

I hope that helps to understand the shipping process.

At least, now you know that your goodies are on its way.

I understand how it works. The problem is that my label wasn't created until the 6th. I placed my order very early on the 5th, so it still wasn't processed the same day.

I believe you ordered before I did, CartoonChic. My order has been shipped. I wonder wtf is going on with yours? I hope you get a confirmation of shipment soon.

Thanks. I checked my order late last night and a label was created. I got the actual shipping notice email this morning. I'm still giving them a call because I think something went wrong somewhere. The delay wouldn't bother me at all if it was a free shipping code. But since I paid for it, well, that changes things.

OK, I got my shipping cost refunded. The representative said something didn't look right when she checked my account. I told her I called several times to check on my order before hand and that everyone I spoke to said my order was fine. She said that there may have been a delay with the holiday on Monday that caused a backlog of orders to process. That's a reasonable explanation and I can accept it. It's annoying to have to wait until Monday, but I'll be happy to get my order. I still plan to get Overnight shipping with Marilyn, so we'll see how that works out.

I agree,you should definitely give them a call. Yes, things fall through the cracks sometimes, but this is an issue they need to be aware of, so that it doesn't occur again. Plus, you paid for it. Granted, it's just $5 but there's no reason why orders with free shipping should have gone out before yours, especially since you placed the order really early! I placed my order after yours (and paid for the 2nd day upgrade) but it still went out before yours. We really should both be receiving the orders today!

ETA - oh good, i'm glad you were able to get that resolved!

I agree! But I'm OK now that I know what's going on and got things resolved. I'm disappointed to not get my order today, but I'll console myself with my Chanel order that is out for delivery right now. At least I'm getting my hands on one dark purple lipstick. Oh, and the Marché Aux Puces I ordered should be delivered today too. I'll have some new toys to play with.
