NYX has a liner Deep Purple that I bet would rock with this lippy. Anyone having patchiness issues, I finally tried P&P lip and it works great on those Satin lippies that don't go on as satiny smooth as I'd like. Mocha and Watch Me Sizzle are too that have patchy issues on my lips (a Satin and a Matte) and they both went on super smooth with P&P lip. And, they still left that stain I really like. I don't know how I functioned before without Prep & Prime for the lips. It may even help me revive Cyber and Hollywood Nights...

Really? Good to know. I've been wearing Mocha for more than 15 years and I've never had a problem with application. I have yet to apply Cyber well even once. I absolutely cannot get it to work. I've tried wearing balm under it, applying it after a night of balm, applying a layer of liner underneath, using it with a more creamy layer, applying in layers and blotting...nothing seems to work. I'm officially at 'to hell with it' point.
I'll have to look at NYX liners next time I'm in the US, thanks.

I've heard a lot of complaints about YR (not so much on here, but other sites) but I actually really like mine. I don't mind the slick texture and slightly sheer consistency, I think it's a really pretty color and am definitely looking forward to getting a couple different lip liners to try it with

Well, I checked the site and YR is now showing as sold out. Are all of the people who ordered it b/c it was coming back in stock gonna get sad emails? Mine is still showing as backordered. I ordered around midnight Friday PDT. I'd like to know honestly. If I get it that would be cool but if not then I'd like to know so I can use that money for another lippie lol.

I think the people who ordered while it said "coming soon" and were still able to add it to their carts should still receive theirs. Hopefully anyway.

I totally agree. I should have mine already as I ordered it while still in stock and got the rest of my order today. I didn't know it was gonna be backordered. I'd ordered it sooner but was waiting for payday. I hope that I do get it as it'll definitely be unique in my collection.

Was yours cancelled? That really sucks. I'm not giving up hope just impatient. I am so sorry that you had problems too. I usually don't have problems with MAC's site so hopefully this is a rare occurrence. Whether I get it or it gets cancelled I'll post here with what happened.
Edited to add that I just saw on the previous page that you said it was. I'm so sorry you got that email. I am glad you got your first two though.

Ok so I don't know what its going on with me, I got mine last friday and I tried it on soon as I got it out of the box and ughhhh it looked nothing like all the swatches I have seen, it looks super dark and vampy on me I don't understand what is going on with me first CYY and now this. Am I doing something wrong? I really want it to look like it looks on everyone else I want to love this lippie but I just don't know why it looks so ugly on me.

I don't think it's really looked the same on everyone. On some people it's a little redder and on some it's darker/vampier. Did you put too many swipes on maybe?

YP looks really dark on me too with the first swipe. I apply more swipes just to make it more opaque. I can wear brights with no problem, but I need to adjust to wearing darker lipstick. I love the color though and will wear it. Nightmoth is also darker than YP. I'll try it with my other purple lip pencills tomorrow to see what happens.
