Mine is 6'5 too. We look odd together with him being more than a foot taller than me. She gets it from him. His Mom is 6'2.

I'm considered tall around my family I'm 5'6 and every single woman in my immediate family (who I spend the most time with) is shorter than me! It's only when I'm out in the world I don't feel so tall. lol My aunt is like 4'11/5', My mom is 5'4 and one of my cousins is 5'2. I'm happy with my height because it helps me carry my weight better! (Or so I thought!)
Good luck to all you ladies losing weight. I am on the track to lose some weight. I don't know what I want the final number to be but so far this summer I have lost 16lbs. I use to be one of those people that I was convinced I carried my weight really well until I saw my graduation pictures. I knew it was time then and what keeps me so on track this time is I don't feel like I'm restricting myself, that helps a bunch! Good luck ladies!

I was at my local Mac counter today to check out one of the latest collections which didn't intice me enough to purchase any of them and one of the artists there informed me that they will begin taking pre-orders for the Glamour Daze collection the first week of October. She said that I can actually do a pre-order the same day I go to pick up my Marilyn Monroe items (which will be released in store on October 4th). Yay!!!!

I was overweight as a kid, didn't lose weight until my 20's. Right now, I could stand to lose 20lbs, but you know? I look pretty damn good, 20lbs or no 20lbs. and it took me a long time to think that way. Plus, I'm an athlete and in great shape as far as running and playing football. (American football)
As far as your husband goes, I have been in the same boat. It takes time, but time is really the solution. It gets easier as time goes on. You should embrace the pain you feel right now. I think that pain will help you change and grow and better your life. Good luck!

I wanna share too! I'm 5'4 and hubs is 6'2. I used to have a thing for dating guys 6'5" and above... Rawr! Lol Of course, I'm the shortest one in the family, but my mom is shrinking so maybe she will be shorter than me soon. My lil bro who is 9 years younger than me is 6'3" and still growing. He has been taller than me since he was basically born
