I did a comparison swatch of Yung Rapunxel with La Provocante and some other purple lipsticks a few pages back. Here's a direct link to the post.

Ok thanks...

I have dry lips, so I'm going to have to exfoliate and prime my lips with a lip balm, before I apply the Chanel one since it is matte... And it clings to the dry skin , making the color not apply evenly.

I like the Yung Rapunxel one... Just I have Odyssey and other vamp lips .. I'm not sure I need two purples... Considering chanel cost a fortune. lol

Just got my YR today...here is a pic of me wearing it. Excuse my shiny face and wore out makeup...

And here are some swatches of YR and other purples that i have to compare:

First on the left is Night Violet Mattene, At the top is YR, In the middle is Heroine, and at the bottom I was experimenting with YR and I put NARS Strawberry fields on top.
YR looks amazing on you! This is what I was hoping it looked on me, I think I'm going to try it out again tomorrow and see how I feel

I agree, Revlon lipsticks typically don't wear as long on me and I have to reapply more frequently than MAC lipsticks. But I don't mind because of the cheaper price.
But if you have to reapply it more frequently then you will use it twice as fast as you would a MAC lipstick. So it really only saves you money upfront. If the Revlon lipstick costs 7 dollars up front and you have to apply twice more than the MAC lipstick then once it's gone you will have to repurchase it quicker. This is just my MAC addict rationale for buying makeup.

Lol, true! But I wouldn't say the reapplication is excessive for me. It's just more than I would need to do for a MAC lipstick. Maybe every 3-4 hours, so the Revlon would get used faster but not twice as fast. It should be mentioned that I still haven't finished any tube of lipstick yet. I also pay around $5 or less for Revlon lipstick. I get them at Walmart or use Ulta coupons for discounts. So I'm able to get about 3 Revlon lipsticks for 1 MAC lipstick.

Well you can't beat that, but if you're anything like me you buy the dupes AND the original color lol

Is anyone else's YR ESPECIALLY patchy? It's almost not even patchy and more gloppy. My friend got one that has a perfectly smooth texture so I'm wondering if I got one from a bad batch. This might be the first thing I've returned in ages.....

Shontay, how is the texture on the MUFE one?  It looks smokier and darker...is it matte?
It's not matte. It looks like a satin on the lips. It doesn't slide around either. You can get hours of wear even through eating. Here's Temptalia's review: http://www.temptalia.com/make-up-for-ever-49-rouge-artist-lipstick-review-photos-swatches

Indeed very similar!
*slaps forehead* How did I totally forget Shontay already suggested this. I was browsing for vampy lips and stumbled upon it. Sephora brand has a pretty good vampy Creme Lipstick as well. Thanks again Richelle & Shontay for the suggestion/review!

So disappointed in the lipstick and its unevenness.

Grabbed its dupe (WnW Vamp It Up) and was more impressed by this $1.99 lippie than YR. smh

Okay, I will console myself with the MUFE dupe if I get swapper's remorse later...I hate to keep my YR when other folks will give it way more love. Then if I later grow the oomph necessary to wear this dark of a lip, I can go back for the MUFE dupe or just cruise Cyber. =)

Finally got YR in the mail yesterday so of course wearing it today. I don't know how different it is from my other deep purples, but I actually like the texture being kind of sheer. I don't often have a chance at work to reapply, so not having to worry about how it's wearing or if it's getting chunky as some mattes and other thick formulas can tend to do, is a plus in my books.
