Oh no! I think I will stalk with you guys and if I miss try to get to the stores when they open. The bp will probably be gone. Nordys might sell out if I make that appointment and I don't want to go on the weekend.

with as many people that come in to a MAC store I find it puzzling that they only have 3-4 of each item, knowing that this is going to be a major collection.

i have a feeling it might not be up tonight, but im still stalking. I just want 3 lippies (charmed im sure, love goddess, and deeply adored) and the bp. i hope it does come online today but i have a feeling it might come on tuesday or maybe even thursday since they did say the online release is on thursday and the actual in store release is in october.

WTF is the point of launching this collection and only sending out a handful to each store? That makes absolutely no sense to me from a business perspective. It's leaving money on the table. If that's true and they launch on pro early (as per usual), I have no doubt that the resellers will be out in hordes and there will be very little left for the regular launch.
I buy from a high volume MAC store; I sure hope this isn't true and that it won't be a problem to get the BP I put on hold ages ago.
I genuinely don't understand who is served by ridiculously low volumes. Not their clients, not themselves when they could have sold easily double the amount...it's a bad business practice and it pisses impatient people like myself off and then we just find another company who actually has product at launch that can be swatched before purchase (hello NARS? Nice to meet you). I can understand being surprised by a huge runaway hit, but there's no way they didn't know this collection would be hot.

I really don't think that each store ONLY gets 3-4 of each item. Counters, maybe, but stores? I understand that they may receive limited quantities but I can't imagine it being that low. I think they might say that as a way to decline pre-orders and/or create hype.

With Stereo Rose, my SA sold me one before the release date and I actually witnessed her reach into the cabinet and show me four SRs (one was the tester). I would hope MAC doesn't pull that again, and I'm PRAYING that you're right!

Brush 231 is labeled as an eye shadow brush, but the presenter used it as a lip brush to apply the lipstick. I have brush 316, but it takes me forever to apply lipstick because the tip is so small.

So it wasn't only my eyes playing -- others have noticed Scarlet Ibis looks too identical to Lady Danger. I'll be passing up on this (and this was the only lipstick from this collection I was primarily interested in).

Thanks for the linkI swatched most of my reds this past weekend. There's also SI and SLV:TF Scarlet Rouge, Runaway Red, Heartless, Ruffian, Red Racer, SI, SLV, Kanga Rouge, Gesina (pinkish red), D&G Italian Monica.
Oh no! Please tell me I don't need Legendary. :shock: I was content with my two items Haha Edit: my phone is being a turd. I meant for this to be a response for the video you posted
