hmmm thats odd. shontay is darker than you and she bought one of the blushes because she liked the way it looked on her. did you put it on with a brush or was it just like a finger swatch? now im curious lol because when i swatched it on the back of my hand the color showed up and im darker than you too.

Legendary looks very light in the pan, but it kinda works the same way than Immortal Flower, you need to work it into the skin! I applied it with a kabuki and it get darker, it reminds me of a peachier version of Stunner, with a glowy finish.

These are my first impressions:

Legendary is a very light peach in the pan, lighter than Immortal Flower and pinkier (in the pan!). On my skin, it reminds me of Stunner, same pigmentation, Stunner is pink while Legendary is peachy pink. It's gonna be amazing on light skin, haven't tried it on NC40 skin yet (need to apply my selftanner tonight).

Deeply Adored is similar to Beet lipliner, if you have that one (it's in the permanent line), you will get a good idea of how it looks irl, just imagine Beet with a more rich red tone. I thought it would be similar to the new Nars lip pencil I bought last week, Damned. But it's not, Damned is much more matte and plum. I would say Deeply Adored is a dark burgundy red, super rich colour with a matte slightly creamy finish. If you have MUFE Aqua Rouge #8, it's darker than that and with more cool undertones. Sorry I can't compare it to any other red, that's all I own!

Love Goddess is very similar to NYX Spellbound, slighly less bright, maybe a little bit more brownish purple undertone? But very very similar.

I have a couple of shades that deepen on skin like that - Immortal Flower and Launch Away which looks like a very light peach but goes on pink. Strangest thing, but I like it a lot. I don't have Stunner so I can't compare. I might have to check this one out (although I certainly don't need any more blush).

Despite the fact that we're all addicts, the reality is that there are only so many shades of red. For those of us who already have a dozen red lippies, it's almost impossible that we not have a near dupe, particularly since these are matte. I think many of these lippies are beautiful based on online swatches, but are they hugely original? Probably not, no. A colour like Queen's Sin seems harder to dupe to me. I'm sure I'd like CIS and DA and find them both flattering; I'm equally sure that I already have colours that are PD close. If the collection launches and they're still available, I might buy them. Not sure yet. I haven't even called to ask my store to put them aside so I'm thinking I can't want them very much. I was planning on getting the BP (I have one set aside) but I'm now thinking it might be very close to NARS Albatross and I don't need two whitish highlighters. I'll pick it up and if I don't care for it then I'll sell it at (Canadian) cost to someone else here. The only grey e/s I have is Moth Brown, so I'm thinking about getting Showgirl. Not sure it's the best choice of steely greys though; I might be better off with a perm shade that will fit in my palette because I can't see myself ever finishing an oversized one in this colour. Anyone have any recommendations from the perm line?

Years ago my MUA recommended the #231 to me when I was looking for a lip brush. I LOVE the #231 and use it exclusively for lip products. I highly recommend

Honestly if it's a color you'd wear and you can afford to I'd get it just to avoid skippers remorse and well for the packaging. I'm gonna get it even though I have Rocker b/c well I love Rocker and I know I'll wear DA. Sorry to enable.

I usually know what I'm going to order from a collection - this one is different. I guess I'm ambivalent. I can afford the lippies, just wondering if the nine matte reds I already own might do me.

I can see your dilemma now. What nine do you have? I don't have many LE reds but several perm ones. I have Chili, Diva, Russian Red, Lady Danger, Ruffian Red, and Rocker. Of course I got the 2 reds from Styleseeker too but they are more like a satin finish which is nice for a change.

Oh ya forgot to add that I have Nars Moscow and Amsterdam too.

Got my shipping notice today for yesterday's order. Just regular shipping, so I guess I'll have it by next week. I was reading about the other mac red comparisons and realized i only have one "red" red lipstick from them and that was Heartless. We'll see how the two I ordered compare to what I've got around.

Nice collection. VG1 is on my to get list. I have FS as well but it's a very subtle red. I haven't tried MAC Red yet. I do love the Satin finish honestly. Love the name of the Merle Norman lipstick pencil you have. I am addicted to cola lol. I think we should just call it Lipstick Ebola Fever lol.

Me too. I watched one on TCM. I don't remember the name but it as with MM and she tried to have her husband killed at Niagra Falls. It was good. I ended up watching the whole thing.
