Hi CartoonChic, i managed to stop by the store today, so as promised, Chanel Délurée:



As you can see in the background the weather was very sh*tty today, it was extremely cloudy and raining constantly

But i do believe the swatch is fairly accurate despite of that, so here you go

And yup it definitely has a tiny bit of red in it, although i must say that irl it even pulled a bit more brown than in the pic. I also didn't notice any shimmers like in Famous or Inimitable. I normally intended to swatch some other browns next to Délurée, but i only managed to get to the store 5 minutes before closing time, so i really had to hurry. This weekend i might go back, if you want i can swatch Déterminée next to it then, so you have something to compare it to.

My Evanescente arrived. I just swiped it on real quick, so can't say much about it yet. The color itself is really beautiful, but it's very subtle. I guess it's because it's very close to my natural lip color, I feel ike it doesn't show much, I expected the formula to be more opaque and somehow thicker. Feels a bit drying as well, I only have it on for maybe 20 minutes and my bottom lip already looks a little crinkly. So from my first impression I feel like the formula won't become my favortite, I prefer the RC Shines.

I didn't apply Prep+Prime lip or a balm underneath though, so I hope I will like it better when I use those.

I got the most amazing sample with my order. The package felt really heavy, so I was already wondering what's in there. It was a notebook by Viktor+&Rolf, like a real book, heavy and very elegant looking in white and black. I thought it was just a notebook, but when I opened it, there was a miniture perfume bottle in it! Like there was a hole in the middle of the book sides and it was embedded in there. So cute!

I think they don't ship internationally. I'm a little disappointed with their customer service. I received a nail polish with a broken lid. It looked like someone already tried to open it forcefully. But they won't let me send it back, because they said they check everything before they pack it and it must've happend during delivery, which I doubt. So in order to return it I have to take the whole package with everything I ordered to the post office for them to check and examine everything and do some paperwork, and then I have to send that back to Parfumdreams, and so forth. I'm not in the mood for that kind of a hassle.

I'll just keep it, kind of bummed about it tough. Not sure if I want to order there again.

I had a similar problem with Parfumdreams once. The pump of a Dior foundation was faulty, but they didn't want to take it back because it was not in their allotted timeframe for returns. I stopped ordering from them then.

But BTT! I'd love to try Rouge Noir RA, because I was disappointed how L'Impatiente looks on all the bloggers who already got theirs.

I'm sorry that Evanescente didn't work out for you. I took a quick peek at that shade yesterday in the store, and like you said it's indeed a very subtle color. What a shame about the staying power, my Enjouée has descent staying power but it does feel pretty drying as well after a while.

That's too bad about the scent and Evanescente. Do you think it's the formula for you or just maybe that color?

I'm sorry about that really. I think the Rouge Allure texture is creamy, I always use a pencil and I should use a primer. Today, I tried M.A.C Marilyn Deeply Adored, it's great and matte but it didn't wear so long ( I drank a glass of limonade and didn't apply any primer ), I love both Rouges Allure and M.A.C lipsticks whatever the texture. The best long-wearing lipstick I found so far is the Estee Lauder vivid colours and maybe the Bobbi Brown lipstick ( in Burnt Red ), the RA is beautiful but almost "moisturizing" I think.

That's stunning to me that it didn't last on you Naynadine. I've read that from a couple of other people. RA's last and last on me and I sometimes choose to apply it lightly because I find them so pigmented. Even Secrete, which is a subtle pink, goes on strong on my pigmented lips. Sorry it didn't work out for you.

Oh my word, that made me laugh so hard about the manly scent! Totally something I would do lol

Bummer that your Evanescente didn't last. I usually line and fill in my lips with a pinky nude liner like MAC Subculture before putting on any of my lipsticks. Maybe that would extend the wear?

I will definitely try it with a liner, I was already looking for a pinky nude/neutral one for most of m everyday lipsticks. Usually I use Prep+Prime Lip before l/s, I hope that will help a bit as well.

Sorry to hear that Evanescente didn't work out for you. Rouge Noir seems to last well, but it's not as opaque as the CoCo formula, which I still prefer.

Hope you don't mind smelling manly for a while. Actually, I find that more traditionally "male" scents work the best on me. I got a set of three perfumes from L'Artisan Parfumeur and realised that I'd chosen the 'man' set after I got it home. That said, all three are much better on me than traditional ladylike scents. The Great Enabler even got me a bottle of Aramis for my birthday, which is a men's fragrance, but works really well on my skin.

I got a set of three perfumes from L'Artisan Parfumeur and realised that I'd chosen the 'man' set after I got it home. That said, all three are much better on me than traditional ladylike scents. The Great Enabler even got me a bottle of Aramis for my birthday, which is a men's fragrance, but works really well on my skin.

So you have both to compare? If that's the case, I may try to track down the RC formula.
