Were you at Valley Fair? I probably saw you. I casually walk in at 1005 and see hardly anybody there and then find out they sold out of everything. How lame of that lady.there was a 1 item limit at Nordstrom I ran to the Mac section this dumb lady behind me was like do u really need to run? I was like yup!!! no beauty powders or love goddess or deeply adored I got it already but my cuzns need em

Today I went super early at the store and bought Scarlet Ibis lippie and Forever Marilyn bp. The bp is gorgeous! 
I'm so glad that I bought it because it feels like I'm glowing in the spotlight or something (I'm NW20 for reference). It didn't felt chalky or super powdery. The MUA gushed about how it looked lovely on me. I won't buy a backup of the bp because where I live, it's pretty much of a heatwave 24/7-365 days and it's one of those items that will last for a long while in my drawer. However, I don't discourage anyone who's backing it up because it's really an amazing product and it may not be re-promoted due to the name, unless they do but by another name. I tried the other red lipsticks (Love Goddess, Charmed, I'm Sure, and Deeply Adored) in the store and here's my small review about them:
Scarlet Ibis was just as I excepted, orange and red toned, and tbh I'm a sucker for those kinds of shades. It was an instant buy for me.
Surprisingly, Love Goddess turned out pink on me instead of red. No berry nor red tones on me. It reminded me of Impassioned but darker, muted, and less bright. I don't know if it has anything to do with my pigmented lips, but it still looked gorgeous. However, I don't know if I should truly skip it or just buy it once and for all since it's still available at the store and at Macy's atm. I hope it's still around at least by Tuesday so that I can buy it if I ever make my mind up.
Charmed, I'm Sure looked like a standard red to me, but the MUA thought it looked gorgeous on me. Even though I agreed with her, it still didn't gave me the "oomph" to buy it since I have Russian Red and I thought it looked alike.
Deeply Adored was sold out in the store and the MUA told me that they were probably not going to be re-stocked since everything was going fast. I tried the sample of Deeply Adored and at first I was a bit shocked because I've never worn a dark red lipstick before, but it looked really cool and quite vampy the more I looked at the mirror and felt comfortable. The MUA told me that Deeply Adored is still available at the Macy's, but unfortunately I'm quite tight in money and I get payed next week. If I had at least $20 atm, I would've gone to Macy's and buy that lipstick because it looks like something that may not be re-promoted soon. Maybe I can convince a friend of mine if he can buy me the lipstick tonight, but I'm not sure how that will go and if it's still available at Macy's.
I didn't try the blushes because I wasn't interested in them, but according to the MUA, The Perfect Cheek seems to be the hot pick on that collection along with the lipglosses, and Deeply Adored lipstick. There were running low on the lipglasses, bp (they are probably sold out by now or tomorrow), one of the eyeshadows (I forgot which one it was but it was one of the lighter shades), and many of the lipsticks except for Charmed, I'm Sure and Love Goddess. However, I doubt that most of the items will be on stock at the stores since the MAC store and the one at Macy's are usually full during the night and on weekends.
The MUA told me that the collection was released yesterday in the store (there's only one MAC store in my country, two if the Macy's one is included), which really surprised me, but not many people knew about it. People only knew once they saw the Marilyn promotion poster in the store and asked if they could buy from the collection. That's how Deeply Adored lipstick sold out super fast that day. I forgot to ask if they did a pre-sale of the collection.

Lol, nope not alone! Believe me, I still wouldn't have my license if I didn't think I needed to get it. My mom still doesn't have hers and has no intention of ever getting one. I've had some people try to give me a hard time in the past and I'm like why do you care if I'm driving or not? You're not taking me anywhere! I feel like I got my license when I was ready to get it. My hand was forced into it a little bit, but it was still on my terms.I'm 30 and thought I was the only one that didn't have a license (still don't). People like to give me crap about it. Now I don't feel so alone.I'm a hot mess when I get behind the wheel. So I avoid it at all costs lol. But it is getting to a point that I need to finally get it done.

Yes I ordered it from the AL store...I ordered a couple of hours ago. I think they still had a lot of stuff in stock if anyone is interested...but you will have to pay shipping.

Visited the Macy's counter and the employees pulled a droit de seigneur on the customers. They bought all of DA, SI, and one of the powders before we even had the chance to purchase! Aupon this situation!

Ah, glad it went well! Turns are hard. I still don't park quite right because I misjudge the turn. Yes, I'm one of those people who can't park straight. *hangs head in shame* But I at least make sure I'm within my parking space. My car is just crooked within the space.When I go to the Mac store tomorrow, I think I'll ask about Glamour Daze. They tend to know about collections at that store as opposed to the counters. Maybe they'll have a book or something I can look at. Anyone think they might have the products already?
I'll see if I can take a peek at the Glamour Daze collection too. I wonder if the store will be crowded. I should be leaving to go get my preorder in a bit. Lol, no, I'm not driving.

they always say that. i feel like doing a bully chat with them. and telling them how they never know a damn thing and how they lie about restocks!!!I chatted online with an MUA from MAC's US website and she told me that despite trying to find quantities for a re-stock, they aren't sure if it's going to be possible. Way to be bleak...
