MAC for Marilyn

I got my Beauty Powder from my daughter and I'm going to try it tomorrow when I do a full face of makeup. I'm excited to see how it turns out.

My first thought was this reminds me of my niece - Miss Sticky Fingers - anything MAC that is not hers, sticks to her when she visits ...

So I guess I should share my MM story as well: I called and ordered with a counter on the 2nd..the girl told me that they would ship out from her store or another store as soon as the collection launched on thursday. Took my credit card info and all....I called today because I had no charges, and had not recieved any follow up calls. Lo and Behold my order had never been placed and no blush and lippie are coming my way...

The counter assistant offered to take my order on replishnment products and add some free "goodies" to my box...but I wanted Marilyn not perm products and not dupes of marilyn. She was very hospitable and kept apologizing...but Im sad cause I was really excited and thought I had gotten my hands on the two things I wanted....to only be disappointed

O well..its just makeup.

it's so unfortunate that this is happening to so many people!
if one of the missing lipsticks was LG i still have the extra one!

i just looked and i am certainly disappointed in seeing that majority of the stock of Marilyn Monroe is literally on eBay!!

I understand people like to make a dollar out of 15 cents but trying to make 275 dollars out of 15 bucks is annoying as f*** and really overboard

MAC needs to look at eBay and see what people are doing and then take into account what needs to happen when it comes to having collections like this and come up with proper ways to selling this stuff bc this is just disgusting!!!!

.. i hate those ebay vultures but with collections like this.. it's so tempting to place a bid! those prices though.. grrrrrrrrrrrrrr!
