Sephora F&F OCT 2012! What's on your wish list???

I will probably repeat my standard F&F order: BB sponges + cleaner & YSL Touche Eclat. Maybe a YSL Matt ls too.

I went a little overboard on MAC MM collection. Plus I want the Chanel holiday collection. So I am going to try to be good!

I plan to pick up the Guerlain Perles du Dragon Meteorites, Cinderella mirror compact, and possibly the Hourglass veil mineral primer mini. I'm probably going to wait until payday on the 23rd to order so I hope the Perles are available by then and the other items are still in stock too.

I just wanted to confirm that the 20% F&F discount can be used IN STORES too, correct?

It is supposed to be online and in store but I haven't seen anything on sephora.com yet

I could be very wrong so someone correct me if I am, but I have heard that the "spinning wheel" located on their site is the Family and Friends this year. You spin and whatever you get I guess that's what you use for the family and friends. Here are some links I found on it:

Oh man! I'd definitely like to know! I passed on the UD Smoked Palette when I placed my UD F&F order and thought I'd grab it during the Sephora 20% off sale! I could always go back and get it from UD at 20% off if Sephora isn't going to give us that sale this year... I hate when they mess with my "stocking up" system!

Wow. I think the wheel might be the F&F sale! If that's the case then a big BOO to Sephora. I was looking forward to the 20%. Now I won't buy anything out of the ordinary. What a copout. 10% off, free shipping over $25 and mini samples are not enough for someone who shops there all year long. *drops the mic*

Called my local Sephora. The manager confirmed that there will be a F & F event starting on 10/18 & lasting through the end of the month. This event, however, may be restricted to actual friends and family of Sephora employees. In other words, you may need to get a discount card or special invite from an employee to get the discount. The manager said that this was what would be happening at her store, but she couldn't confirm that it was for all locations. [At her store no special invite = no discount] A separate VIB event is also planned for November (pre-holiday season).

She confirmed that the stupid wheel thingy is not meant to be the F & F.

this is exactly what they said last year. First the wheel, then the secret invite only. then online only. then it turned out to be the regular 20% in-store and online. Trust me, I will buy much more if without the mystery. otherwise, I will just shop at nordies and collect my notes....

Ugh, not the stupid invite-only F&F. I was so miffed last year. My nearest Sephora is 2 hours away and I've never been in it. I'm strictly an online shopper for them unless I happen to be vacationing and hit a mall.

Last year for the F&F, there was a website that you had to go onto and register your email address. Then, they'd sent a unique online discount code. Hopefully, that's how they'll handle it again (since we can just share the website with other people). I'll probably split my order up between the F&F sale + the VIB November sale.

I've tried Becca SSP. I tried it years ago when Sephora was carrying it the first time. It's gorgeous, but unfortunately, it broke me out badly. It made my skin burn and caused a breakout and all that bad stuff, but if there isn't an ingredient that irritates you, I say go for it.

To be perfectly honest, DILLIGAF, my experience with the LTL pencils is that they're not that great. I own about 4 or 5 of them because I went nuts and ordered them when they came out. They're staying power is nothing compared to MUFE and UD. I'm not trying to talk you out of it, just giving my 2 cents. I don't think they're top-notch quality at all.

Second this, I love a lot of Nars products but these liners leave a lot to be desired.

for me LTL pencil are the longest staying ones. i have hard time rubbing it off.
mufe are amazing too

ud have the worst staying power of these three just because they are much creamier

what i HATE about LTL pencils is stupid sharpening thing, they can never be really sharpened. i like making thin and precise wing and with these i can't

They are a nightmare to sharpen. So are the MUFE aqua shadow pencils. hboy:

really? i only have one mufe pencil and never had problem sharpening it? i use either sephora or nars sharpener
