I just read this about the dutch release on the 3rd of november http://www.beautyscene.nl/p/140781/mac_glamour_daze_holiday_collectie_-_nl_release_3_november_2012_ If those prices are real this is even more expensive than Marilyn. Seriously €24.50 for blush when they normally are €20 and were €22 with Marilyn and €21 for lipstick that is normally €18.50 and was €19.50 with Marilyn, that's just crazy! The only strange thing is that the EDSF are listed as €27.50 and those were €28 before. I'm interested in the EDSF, Fluidlines, Kohl powers and one blush (I'm the one) right now. The shadows look pretty and maybe I'll get one or two, but they are so expensive.

What? :thud: Why the price increase? I think I might even skip the Small Vanity now, it reminds me of a blush from Illamasqua. The increase and the limited quantities annoy me seriously.

Oh, crap! Here, we already paid 21 Euros for the MM lippies, 23.50 for the e/s if I remember correctly, and for the blush IDK what! I bet we can get our stuff cheaper from eBay!

It made me sad to think of all the destroyed imaginary makeup But amazing film!

We might also have a better chance of actually finding them on eBay, given the recent inventory shambles. lol.

After tossing and turning for a half hour, I figured I'd check to see if the collection went up on pro yet. Got myself all psyched up, thinking maybe it was intuition or something..."MACtuition", let's call it...checked the site annnnnnd nothing. Oh well. Maybe I'll try sleeping a little longer

I'm not sure if I'm going to purchase anything or not.

I've brought so much make up in the past 6 months its not funny anymore.

Time to go on a no-buy! and put stuff in rotation!

I'm so excited for this collection! Just the whole collection is so eye cathcing for me.
I have my eye one only 2-3 products, but I will limit myself only to one item, I have some MAC stuff to use up... (I wrote a list with products that I have to finish up, and I put it on my desk, that way I use them more often. I finished up a couple of items by now, yay!)

I'm really looking forward to your review of the preview night!

You mean the individual lipsticks and the EDES? No, they won't be released at the same time as the sets. From what I understand, the individual items are being released on Oct. 25, and the sets will be released a couple of weeks later. Not sure if the sets are Nov. 8 or 15.

Individual items are the 18th, sets the 25th except for pigment and lipglass sets on Nov 8.

I went to mac counter last night and the makeup artist told me she was taking "pre orders" for the collection,anyway she showed me the color story and I started doing a list then when I was done I gave her my picks and she started taking the stuff out of some drawer but I was not allowed to touch or see anything except for the book and she rang the stuff and put it in a bag ...( to be ring on launch day)
I got

1 MSF- Superb ( I already bought this first time around ,this is for my teenage daughter)
1 blush ( I am the one) Rethinking this over Dior Rosy Glow blush and get small vanity Or Easy Manner instead .I also have Nars Gaeity ...decisions,decisions!
1 Nail polish (Everything that glitters)
2 Eyeshadows- A natural Flirt, Stylish Merry
2 Fluid lines- Femenine Edge, Catch My Eye
1 Lipstick - Outgrageously Fun

They only had one nail polish left ( Everything that glitters) and one I am the one blush left Also I noticed a price increase on the MSF,lipsticks etc. Pretty much everything was a dollar or 2 higher than usual.I might pick the pink bag for my DD ( her bday is Oct 26th she will be 16 yrs old!)

That's crazy. The quantities seem to be even smaller than for MM.
