Damn now i want all three fluidlines now Is the glitter in the fluidlines rough? I'm wanting the taupe and pink ones for bases, but have really sensitive eyes. Man, everytime I think I have my list down it changes!

If the focus was on quality over quantity then they wouldn't have lost so much money. Holiday 2011 for Mac was beyond wack. That's their fault and now consumers pay because we have to break our necks just to be able to get to the products before all the quantities are gone.

I agree, I usually buy from the holiday collections every year, and last in my opinion was the worst MAC has done since I started buy MAC in 1999.

I have not seen it in person, but from the pic it looks like small compartments and a cheep plastic, IMO. I don't get the hype

EXACTLY! The hanging bag is small, small,, small. I most certainly wouldn't (and didn't) purchase it.

I'm off to the event! I'll swatch as much as I can. My strategy is to fill out my order form with one of everything as soon as get there and hand it to a MUA. Then I'll swatch everything and will ask them to remove what I don't want before I buy.

That's exactly what I did!

I only purchased 3 things though:

• Whisper of Guilt powder
• Feminine Edge fluidline
• Raven eye liner

I'm officially on a no buy until the end of December. Whoopee!!!

I'm happy I gave them my card as soon as I got in there. @ my MAC store WOG sold out. I don't know about the other skin dimension powder.

ohh the drama. i get to the store at 6:55 like 8 people before me and no one in the store. then at 7 we all go in and im the third in line to pay and the 2 nailpolishes i wanted, the eyeshadows, pink fluidlines were all sold out!!! im like WTF and i told them and they are like ohh is soo crazy and im like lady no one has payed you obviosly had pre orders and everything sold out before the party!!??? whats the point of having a fucking party then. i payed 5 things and the walked out. i felt bad for all the people outside that didnt have pre-orders.

some ladys were drinking like crazy and writing what they wanted. by the time they get to the register everything was going to be sold out and they drunk as hell.

the shadows look sooo tiny. i wanted ready to party such a pretty lavander but it was sold out. a natural flirt is so blahh to me. i couldnt believe it. the everthing that glitters polish beautiful!! and in the lime light looks doesnt look like miss chivious mint. it has more green in it. compare to the blue in the miss C. they didnt have it in the display. they were all wearing it. so yeah that one sold out not in presale but when they all got it.

so i got innocence peachy but with golden shimmer. outrageosly fun i dont know what to compare that to yet and Dramatic encounter not like rocker or YR its darker. flight of fancy i love. catch my eye fluidline. ohh and glamourdaze for my mom.

so yeah sorry i didnt check all the other stuff like the sets, those drunks where all over the displays. i have some pics of the models "singers"?? im also going to compare my haul that i got in my stash. im just going to have dinner and take some tylenol!!

my mom asked me why i still got stuff and im like mom im a fuck!!ng addict already!! one joint two joints whats the difference?? im not mad or sad cause i miss things. im just mad with mac behavior. i can still get stuff online, at the nordstroms counter. but im going to think about it.

Thank you for sharing your experience and reminding me why I chose to not go to this event! I went to the summer pre-release party and it was exactly the same thing. I think a quarter of the store was filled with people getting refill after refill of drinks, chatting away, walking around like there wasn't a huge line of other people waiting to get into the store to see the products. The stress levels there are just too high and the desire to punch someone in the ovaries is overwhelming. But I do feel it's something everyone should experience once, lol. Glad to hear you got out of there with a few goodies!!!

ohh dear i cant remember,hahaha its a pigmented lipstick. its a creamsheen but to me it feels like a satin really pigmented and soft but not creamy like a creamsheen.

I'm glad to hear its pigmented and soft but not creamy. I love those creamsheens but i hate that they dont last on me and that I have to keep reapplying it so often. I'm sold.

Girl you have made my morning! Lol! Exactly!!! My sister and I got there last nite thinking the line would be stacked 50 people deep, it wasn't. I was cracking up when they opened the gate. People ran in bum rushing the poor little waiters for the food and drink, then they looked at the goods. We knew better. We got our $h*t and THEN bum rushed the servers! Only a few people paid in front of us and when I got in line the MUA told me I got the last Whisper of Guilt??!! Fiberluver and I both said we felt sorry for the folx still partying like it was 1999. She said there were going to be some pissed off people once they got themselves together and went up to purchase their stuff and as we walked out the door she said WOW look at the people still standing outside. They're the 8:00 shift and they are going to be pissed. Don't they know there's a strategy to this...buy now drink later!!!!
