Lol, I feel like I'm forgetting to post about something. From stuff that I remember being mentioned:

  • The EDES pots are the same size as regular eye shadow pots.
  • The EDES are 1.3g/0.04 US OZ. A regular eye shadow is 1.5g/0.05 US OZ.
  • The hanging travel bag is $40.
DAAAAMN Mac. THose are tiny..

I have played with them a little. Here are some comparisons, sorry my pictures aren't great, the light seems to be fading. I am NC25 but I think my arm is a little more tan right now. Small Vanity is more unique to me, I don't have a lot of blush in that color family. It is a nice dusty rose, mugh lighter than NARS Taos. I think Easy Manner is a bit more dupeable if you have a lot of light peachy-pink blushes.

L-R/bottom to top: Launch Away, Easy Manner, The Perfect Cheek (first natural light then flash)

L-R/bottom to top: Tarte Exposed, Small Vanity, NARS Sin (I couldn't find any dupes in my MAC blushes)
wait, are these swatches telling me that easy manner might be a close dupe for the perfect cheek?

Here's some pics of the hanging travel bag. Thought it could help some of you to decide whether to pass or purchase. I'm happy with it.

I put some stuff in it and tried to show how the lace printed side is clear. I'm not sure how well you can see the objects inside because of the shiny plastic surface. The Fluidline pots are in the 1st compartment. The EDES are in the 2nd compartment and the EDSF are in each pocket. Lipsticks and gloss are in the bottom compartment. That 2nd compartment actually continues down behind the pockets, so it's rather large in size. And for those of you who are like me and would want to know, the measurements are roughly 11.5" x 17.5" (not including the hanger tip).

this made me want this even more :O do you think it will be selling online on MAC or only in stores? if so I'm screwed on having 1

For those of you who went to the pre-release party and got Outrageously Fun l/s, have you decided if it's unique or if there are any dupes for it? People have mentioned it being kind of close to some colors (Naughty Saute comes to mind), but no one seems to think it looks enough like any other color to pass up. Thoughts? I'm trying to stop being such a bright pink lipstick addict, but if it's unique enough, I'll give in!
ChosenOne...it reminded me of a shade they discontinued, Stiletto. Once the collection hits Nordies I plan on taking it in and comparing but honestly I've been doing the 31 day pink lip challenge for October and I'm plum worn out with pink..WHEW!

i'm thinking about getting the lightest touch-up kit for my sister-in-law as a gift. can anyone tell me what foundation shades 'medium' blot powder would correspond to? i don't know what her shade is, but i figure if i know the numbers i can try to figure out whether medium would be too dark.....

I am NC30-35 and I have the blot powder in Medium Dark. It's perfect, not too light or "powdery" looking. Hope that helps.

Thanks for your input!!! I never had Stiletto, so this may just be the thing that pushes me over the edge to get it! I look forward to hearing your thoughts after doing comparisons. And 31 days of pink lips does sound like a challenge...I'd probably start itching to pop on a different shade too. But good for you for supporting awareness!!!

I was researching the blot powder and it seems that around NC20-25 was good for Medium. I've read that it's sheer and doesn't give off too much color. I'm after the medium set too lol but for myself.

I wear medium and I'm NC20-25. It's definitely not too light - you don't even see it on. I don't normally buy medium shades, but the light blot powder is all but white. Medium is pretty light.

I'm so glad this released in some stores first. I'm happy there's so many swatches! Sadly my list grew instead of getting shorter ughh
