Does anyone know how/if Beauty compares to Mlle?

From seeing the swatches, I think I'm only going to buy Beauty lp. Maybe Talk Softly to Me lg as well but not to the point of really needing it. I kinda expected Innocence to look like Reel Sexy but it's a lot lighter from the swatches I've seen so far.

Impossibly Sweet. But it probably looks like something I own already and don't even wear l/g on top of l/s much, and probably wouldn't wear it alone, so best give it a miss. I'm allowing myself 4 more lipglosses before I go on a lipgloss no-buy (same reason as the lipsticks, I have FAR TOO MANY lipglosses), so best choose wisely.

I skipped the EDSFs last year thinking they'd make me look like a walking talking disco ball so I need to suffer for my sins this time round.

re L/G: which one are you considering? The only one that's caught my eye so far has been Flight of Fancy. And there is the purple gloss set that will be released later...

I might be lacking in willpower but I sure as hell can make up for it with my exponentially growing makeup collection. Teehee.

When I was at the pro store the other day the SA was trying so hard to get me to like it but it was just so clumpy. I barely used any when testing it and it seemed chunky and flaky.

Thanks for the info. So it's not the swatches then.

FE is one of the items I ordered and I'll probably experiment with it a bit before I decide whether or not I'll use it (not that returning is an option for me anyway). What I imagine might work is to have a thin line of eyeshadow in a similar colour along the lash line and a thin layer of FE on top.

If I can't get it to work no matter what I do I can always give it to my 11 year old cousin. She takes part in a lot of school plays and she'll probably find a good use for it!

The secret is owning 400 lipsticks and having a dupe for pretty much everything released... ever. I really only like 2 of the 5 lipsticks, and just how many hot pink lipsticks do I need anyway?

Glamourdaze lipstick (I'm afraid on me it may run darker and a bit brown..)
Easy manner blush (it's not that original, but I always skip this kind of shade..)
Catch my eye or Little black bow fluidline
Endless night nail polish (why didn't I look at it last year? looks like the perfect nude with a bit of shimmer!)

I also would like to add Viva Glam Nicki lipstick and lipglass and Sublime culture cremestick liner

Omg it's the worst. When I was a lipstick newbie, I wanted every color possible. I got two of my friends hooked on red lipsticks and now they picture message me pics of them with pink lips, nude lips, red lips, etc...they are slowly becoming lipstick addicts lol
I'm an enabler.

It's funny to see the surge in interest for Glamourdaze. I always thought it was a very pretty color.

I've been so busy with work the past couple of days that I haven't made it to Nordstrom to pick up my order of Glamordaze and Innocence lipsticks. I was trying to be strong and not look for an Outrageously Fun BU since it was canceled from my order. I want to get other things like the Chanel Holiday quad (shontay -->

), but I may cave and get it along with the Whisper of Guilt BU I've been contemplating. I still need to re-swatch Round Midnight, too.

I was thinking the same thing about Feminine Edge fluidline. I so wanted to love it. I pre-ordered it via Nordies. I finalize my order tomorrow so if any one has it and can render a second opinion I'd greatly appreciate it. Otherwise it's off my list and Mystery eye kohl is on!

Those swatches show the same thing I said from the beginning about Feminine Edge. It's clumpy and doesn't apply smoothly. Using a primer did help it though. I still don't want to give up on it yet. I'm going to exchange mine for another one to see if it may work better.

I remembering laughing at the misspelling of Divine on MAC's website when they launched the collection on Monday. They have it as Devine. I thought they would've fixed it by now.

I opted to pick up my Nordstrom order in store so I wouldn't have to wait for it to be shipped. Their shipping normally takes about a week to get to me. I also love Ebates.

I've actually been using my Discover card for my Nordstrom purchases and other department stores lately. They have a current promotion of 5% cash back on department stores and online purchases, plus an additional 5% if you shop online through ShopDiscover. I'm getting back 10% total. That's main reason why I decided to not get a Nordstrom card. I feel like I get faster rewards using my Discover. I think it would take too long for me to reach the 2000 point level to get a Nordstrom note.
