Thanks for the compliments, ladies!

My 2nd order with all my Xmas stuff in it arrived today and I'm not even allowed to look at it! So depressing. I want it NOW! (that made me think of Veruca Salt from Willy Wonka and her Golden Geese)

how about you open the box, have a look, put the goodies back in the box and pretend it never happened?

go on, you know you want to!

as others have suggested try not to worry to much till you get the doctor's advice. if it's any consolation - i know several men who are colour blind, including my husband, and they are all fully functional! i hope it all works out and you feel better soon!
Thank you, def not so worried my son is very smart and knows his colors just a bit gets them mixed just found out my bro is color blind too and he has a great job lol they just worked around his color blindness

Is the 179 the split fiber kabuki from Semi Precious? If so, I have seen it recently at a CCO. I can swing by and see if they still have it this weekend, if you'd like.  :support:  Good luck! I hope you feel better soon. I know it's difficult, but try not to worry until you speak with the doctor.
Thanks love

The owner of a newsletter I worked for a long time ago was colorblind and he was very successful and quite brilliant. He just never picked the colors of the magazines and he always wore neutral colors.

Lol I don't let my son pick his clothes he's 6 he can do everything else he's really smart but he can't match his clothes. It's just little things for him, i see him already figuring out how to do things, instead of picking the color he reads the crayon or marker to do things right in his work....:bigstar: but were def not going to let little things come in the way of bigger things that will come his way

I'm sure that he will still be fantastic in everything he does! Colour blindness really doesn't have to hold a person back :)

I don't think it'll hold him back either : ) if anything he's always the first one to notice when I color my hair or do anything different to myself. And always compliments me when I do my makeup

Aw that's great! My bf is colour blind, other than the fact he wanted to be an electrician, it hasn't stopped him doing anything. Clever kid thinking of reading the crayons/markers first though! :)

Thanks! I was going to check my CCO too. But it usually doesn't have a lot of great stuff.

I think being color blind means that you can't see all of the colors in the spectrum. You can still see some of them. I had a friend in art school who was color blind. I think he had trouble seeing the color green or red. Can't remember. He was able to see color value really well and took beautiful black and white photographs.

@hwdsprincess:
My daughter is nearly blind. One eye has 1% vision, the other less. It is amazing what she can do with that poor vision. People come up to me all the time in awe of what they see her doing. How she's running about, doing things all the other kids are doing. Your son sounds like a smart kid. It might seem depressing now, but have confidence that he will find ways to cope with his colour blindness. It will not affect his happiness. Have faith

I received that expensive Divine Desire Pink set
love.gif

I LOVE the colors in it.

The gloss is not too unique, but is a soft light/medium peachy rosy pink.
Heart to Heart lipstick - AMAZINGLY Beautiful on!!! Its such a pretty Reddened Watermelon Pink color. Its not really like Watch Me Simmer. WMS is more Coral/Orange. It also made my lips look very full & plump.
Divine Desire blush - OMGosh its such a beautiful soft blue based pink blush with the prettiest soft subtle pearl sheen. Very skin glowing/softening/enhancing.
Purple Dash liner - The color is very pretty and I really like it too & did not find it to be rough/dry when lining as T said. It went on smoothly & is a lovely more Purple Aubergine instead of a Burgundy based Aubergine
The brush is just ok.

For me, the lipstick & blush are so pretty that it was worth it.

Yes the Paramour Pink set was the best out of all the kits. You know it's love when I keep the Heart to Heart lipstick and Warm Embrace Lipglass with me at all times in my purse.

The Divine Desire blush is just dainty! I shy away from frost blushes in general but it a nice sateen finish to it and works well being cool tone but slightly neutral tone for any look for shin tone.

I also can't wait for christmas. I'm not happy with my internship. I don't think I want to work in the physics area after all. I think I will do a cosmetics study when I finish this study. The christmas holidays and new years eve are some of the things I'm really looking forward to in this time. I also want to go to London a couple of days around NYE with my bf. There are fireworks from the bridge in London right? We went to Paris one year and stood in from of the eiffeltower and then nothing what a dissapointment:p
Pursue your happiness. If make up makes you happy, why not do something with that? Being happy with what you do for a living is very important...
