Redd is perfect for orange reds like Scarlet Ibis and Beet for pinky reds or darker reds like Love Goddess and Deeply Adored. I also love Beet with Moxie. If you like your reds get them now!

I think I will have to as I love my reds. LOL Thank you, Pinkdollface!

I din't purchase any of the MM l/p, I got the perm ones.

Cherry is my absolute favorite red l/p. I love wearing it over lip balm.
I just pop on balm then apply l/p and smooth it out with a lip brush.Sometimes I put a gloss on top, sometimes not.

Redd is a new one for me and Beet - I'm working on my 2nd or 3rd one. I try to wear Beet with everything!!!
I really want to try this. Thank you, Fiberluver!

I'm so behind. I just discovered Cherry l/p yesterday. Better late than never, right?

This one is not from the Marilyn collection, but I also love Throw Me A Line l/p.

Does anyone know if Redd is similar to Throw Me A Line?

No l/p but I am embarrassed to say I got the penultimate brow liner (which sucked) and the penultimate eyeliner in black, which I have used almost every day and love. It was mainly to get free shipping and pump up the price of the order, but if it wasn't in the collection, I probably never would have tried the penultimate liner. Of course no MM packaging. I have Redd from a swap, its is perfect for lining for all my red lippies. It is really necessary I think when I am wearing a red to make sure it doesn't feather or I look like a cheap hooker.
I will keep that in my mind when I wear my red.

I've never tried any penultimate liners, but I bought Prep + Prime Lash just to get a free shipping before. I've been using it almost everyday and love it.

I was wondering if that primer was worth it. I hate the extra step, but my lashes are so tiny they need all the help they can get. Have you ever tried the Smashbox lash primer? Is it similar?

No, I've only tried MAC Prep + Prime Lash. Sorry.

I say try it. It even makes MAC Zoom Lash wearable. I think this explains a lot.

It makes my lashes look longer and thicker.

Are these selling like crazy on ebay?

Finally started to wear my products... Wasn't impressed with the shadows. But I am shadow challenged. But I love the lipsticks. CIS is definitely pulling pink on me. deeply adored is gorgeous. I'm kinda glad I got backups.

I wore blush in my early makeup years because it was the late 70's/early 80's, where strong blush was THE look. I had some crazy blushes back then from Diane von Furstenberg's makeup collections (hers were the craziest back then), like bright orange frosted with gold, pure silver, strong brick red (just like Hidden Treasure, as a matter of fact), purple lavender, etc.

Then for years I didn't wear blush, because I too felt like my cheeks were pink enough naturally and didn't need any enhancing, plus the look had become the pale style. Then I just wasn't wearing makeup at all....

Now I'm back to blush, partially because it does wake up my face, but I'd have to say my main reason for wearing it now is because when people look at you, it's almost as if they're expecting to see some blush - like the "normal", put-together look includes some blush or bronzer, or else you're looking undone. For years, you just looked undone if you didn't have some lipstick on, but now it's blush, and you can pretty much skip the lipstick if you want. Of course, also now there are so many gorgeous blush colors and the new formulas where the blush merges with your skin are so much more flattering than the old powdery stuff that was everywhere even just 2 years ago. All hail BLUSH!
Hahha I totally get u. I can't get enough of buying new blushers whenever MAC launches a new blush colors even though I definitely do not need anymore (LOL have 300 blushers both MAC and non MAC) but I am foreva on the prowl for that perfect cheek color whether it's a hardly there blush or a bright pink or orange one. I'm pretty much game to any kinda blush color XD I definitely cannot live without blusher for sure

The two blushers from MM give a very nice peaches and cream color on the face <3 <3 Legendary and The Perfect Cheek. Can't wait for MAC to launch more new blushers. They will have my name on them! haha

So, where are we all at with our Forever Marilyn BPs?

I've got a good dent in mine, but now I've switched back to Elude and I have to say it....as much as I love FM, Elude is even more flattering and gorgeous on me. FM is just a touch too matte unless I'm going full retro, for which it's then absolutely perfect. Meanwhile, I can make Elude more or less formal, depending if I'm using foundation or not and which type. At my age, I just can't go massively matte all the time, when there are miracle products like Elude out there. I HOPE Elude comes back one day..best powder ever!

The eyeshadows have had a pretty bad reputation for this collection, but I've been wearing How to Marry a lot lately and really fell in love with it as a highlight!

This might be old news to you, but in case you didn't know, I've seen lots of Elude at the Cosmetics Company Store/Outlet! Of course, that was a few weeks ago, but they had so much of it, I'd be surprised if it's gone already.

It's a huge slog in bad traffic to get to any of the nearest CCOs to me, but I still have been considering it, just for a couple more Eludes. Someone was saying they're still expensive, unfortunately. That packaging is sort of annoying- it's beautiful, but it's so heavy I don't like carrying it around in my purse much.

If I remember correctly, I paid around 45 bucks for it.

That's how I feel about FM, too. Although today I exceptionally have it all over because I woke up waaaaay too late and had about 5 minutes for my face! I just slapped Nubile, concealer, FM, So Ceylon, brow stuff and mascara on, and then at work the Ruffians.
