re: Secret reward - Lucky girl! Congrats! Did the peeps at the counter let you swatch the MES?
No I actually didn't ask, she said they just got the stuff yesterday I saw them she starting opening wrappers of makeup : / lol I might go back Monday to see if I can swatch things because I loved the blushes just by looking at them

i just realized MB are $23.50
MAC needs to stop it with the yearly price increases. It's pushing me more towards other brands like NARS. However, I do love me some mineralize blush so I'll be checking out Alpine Bronze. Only other thing that interests me is Apres Chic lipstick.

The ones from HC were also $23.50, but the Naturally ones were $22. Completely ridiculous. There's no reason why it should shoot up $1.50 in 6 months.

In the meantime, I'm scaling down my list to three items. Stereo Rose, Gentle, and Amber Glow.

I guess we'll soon hit the $25 price point for MB's.

I've narrowed down my list to stereo rose, the two new blushes, apres chic / hot chocolate lipstick.. not bad, not bad at all

When that happens, I won't be buying them anymore.

GAH, I also just realized MSFs are $29. IDK why I thought they were $28...maybe because the Naturally ones were and then they increased for HC.

Okay, narrowed down some choices and this should be my final list, unless swatches are really, really different than what we have heard per reviews and what I think products will look like based on color story and promo pix: I gotta narrow some stuff down and the lippies are probably getting passed over b/c the MES sound gorgeous and they get priority:
'Just want to remind everyone that hand swatches looked majorly different than how the lipsticks looked on my lips - we were all surprised. They did get a lot of stock at my store, at least. I don't think it will be too stressful to get these in-store the first couple of days the collection is out and remember....these lippies are mostly nudes and MLBBs, so it's best to try them in person to make sure you get ones that will look the best. If that's not possible, the colors are pretty fool-proof for a wide range of skin tones so I think people will be pretty satisfied overall if they have to buy without trying first, but better safe than sorry is my opinion, or at least wait for good photos of them on people's lips.

I'm getting more and more excited.

I need more swatches, but can't find any. Hopefully more will start to emerge soon. I need to see Warm Companion applied on lips and I'm still completely undecided about the MES.

I went to my counter and saw the eyeshadows which didn't look so nice in my opinion they looked EEH to me I only liked ice, the blushes are so pretty couldn't decide which one I liked best and the msf's are beautiful didn't see lipsticks though, she said I'll let u preorder two things I looked at her like I kid who seen the biggest candy store!!!!! I'm like omg I could kiss you lol so I ordered both msf's I felt so lucky as she said they wouldn't presale because of after Xmas shopping, then leaving so happy and lucky I went to vs to buy a gift, I remembered about my secret reward card I asked the guy to check he's like omg you have $50!!! I was once again so excited lol I never win anything haha I left that store thinking geez I should go buy a lottery ticket but I didn't lol I'm not that lucky
I can never tell the true color of MES without swatching for the most part because of all the veining. I hope I like these though!

That's what looks so nice and in a few you see it more, I think it's a good thing I don't swatch lol two lines coming out same day my list is already long ....YIKES to my bank account

well once the blushes cost $25 im going to be picky and start my nars blush collection.
I absolutely gorged on makeup in 2012, but I've really slowed my buying of late; it's hard to find stuff I actually want.

I had a very sane 2 blush at the beginning of the year. I then added another couple of dozen (MAC and NARS); the nice thing about having so many is that if I want to add the very odd one to my collection at this point I'm not quite as concerned with price (within reason). I certainly don't need more blush, but I'll probably get Stereo Rose if I get the chance unless I think it's too shiny/metallic. MSF are $34 in Canada, and that's getting pretty close to my max.

Warm Companion was so gorgeous on me!! I loved how it glistened. It's very yellow-toned apricot, though. I'd say if you can wear Sheer Mandarin sheen supreme, WC will be more wearable than that one, but it might still be too yellow for some pale NWs. Matching eye shadows to it may be a little tough, too. Frost at Midnight was the most perfect one to go with it. I think warm greys and any type of turquoise or teal would work too, but black might be a little stark. I don't think browns would be so great either.

I heard that if I want to see a lipsticks color to swatch with my fingertips will show a more accurate way how it will look on our lips, not sure but I thought it was interesting to go by
