Did anyone else find that liners drag? The color payoff on my eyes is not that exciting either.
Do you mean the Kohl Power eye pencils? Because i got
Raven (red pearl) and
Orpheus (gold pearl) and they go on smoothly for me. I wear them often - i don't like black, but both look more like their pearl color and i love them. I didn't get
Mystery (green pearl) because when i tested it the green shimmer wasn't as strong as the shimmer in
Raven and
Orpheus, and it looked too black for me. But, what can i say, the idea of green shimmer keeps calling to me, so now i have it in my MAC "shopping cart".
I find that sometimes an eye or lip pencil needs to be warmed up a little before application. I just cup the tip (still in its cap) in the palms of my two hands for a short time before i take off the cap. If it's still too hard, then i cup it, without its cap, for a little longer. That usually works. But some are just sooo hard and nothing seems to help - fortunately i haven't had that problem with MAC pencils yet.
Of the Fluidlines in this collection, I only got
Feminine Edge, the glittery pink one. Because it is so light it's not much of an eyeliner on light skin. But works great as an accent above a darker eyeliner. I do get a little glitter fall-out which doesn't bother me much because it's hidden behind my glasses. But do bear that in mind.
I'm now considering ordering
Catch My Eye Fluidline, which MAC describes as "cool taupe grey with dazzle pearl". But for me
Little Black Bow, "charcoal with dazzle pearl", was a skip because i don't wear pure black or cool grey. However, IIRC, they were not as glittery as the pink one, so should be less problematic.
