Mum had a Dior lippie called Tibet. It was a loud Barbie pink IIRC and I thought it was the coolest thing ever. Grandma didn't approve and kept telling mum it made her face look like a baboon's backside.

That sounds awesome! I hope she wore it anyway. I'm sure it was the trend at the time and your grandmother probably wasn't used to the color. That sucks that she said that to your mother instead of just telling her she didn't like or understand it.

It was Borghese, which was pretty fancy back then….it came in a deep blue, fake tortoiseshell compact hehe…such a vivid memory!

That's really neat. Sounds like a very fond memory too. They really used to put a lot of thought into packaging decades ago.

If yes,it does also include "Look at the Eyes".So maybe you do already have this one in stash too.

NO, I have been lemming that quad for a while, but want to pay less than retail--s/t I am not realistic about these things. Between this quad from TT and the two from Apres Chic, I don't know what to do. Of course all this hesitation probably means some will sell out and I will have to take what's left.

the quad from TT is sold out at all my local counters and stores...but it's still online. i'm still thinking maybe one day it'll be at a cco, and i'll find myself across the border in the said cco....i guess i'm not being realistic either!

This is really a hard decision as all 3 Quads are very beautiful.

But the TT Quad would be the first I' d skip because it does include 2 perm shades (and 1 repromote) whereas the Quads from Strength do include no perm shades and only 1 repromote each.

BTW did any of the refills from Colourization Collection ever hit the CCOs?I wonder if they did because they were initially only sold in Europe.

I just HAD to HAVE SI and NB and now I don't even wear them!! I feel like I have similar colors! Lol in 2013 I will NOT buy similar colors because they are popular!

Ok i think i just stumbled upon how to create nocturnal instinct. I dipped my lipbrush in siss lipstick without noticing it still had up the amp in it and the color looked strangely like NI. If anyone has all 3 lipsticks would be nice to know if im right lol

How could I think of even skipping these lipsticks. I tried all three and was in LOVE. NI is amazing right out of the tube. I thought it would look like budding love on me but its nothing like it on my lips. It's like a more muted deeper snob. It's perfect. SI is def. sisters with heroine but I don't mind because I'm like 50% left on heroine and probably will never get my hands on another unless MAC repromotes. I really didn't need NB since I haven't been into hot pinks lately but what the hell. Also picked up perky lipglass it's gorgeous.

SI is way more neon bright and Mehr is more muted and with a touch of plummy brown pink for me.  No brown at all for SI.  SI is closer to Bright Plum or Violetta. (Or Heroine of course)

If you want to tone down SI, use half- red liner with it. They look beautiful together. Those two joined together is beautiful.

I think what I want is to up the purple more. Thinking about trying Purple Dash (eyeliner) with it or NYX Deep Purple.

NB is going to be a go to this Spring I am thinking...

Spidey Sense is telling me with all the purples MAC's been bringing out, maybe we will see a really bright outrageous one in whatever collection corresponds to Reel Sexy - the spring/summer sexy nighttime collection 2013. Or maybe even in the main summer collection if it isn't quite as classic style as Hey Sailor was.

I can't think of another color that would bring out the hype train buffalo stampede like a super bright matte or satin blue purple, since hot pinks are nearly reaching saturation point - and we know how much MAC likes a good frenzy.
