In the UK the 287 is 22 GBP which makes it about 28 Euros. One thing is certain: I don't buy brushes or palettes from my country (although the palette prices have gone up these past years). I don't know what the 287 costs here - probably more than 36 Euros - because there is no sign of this collection yet!!!

I am hoping to get the 287 and use it for undereye concealer- has anybody tried it yet?
I really like mine. I use my 234 for concealer; I like the 287 for putting on a very sheer wash of colour and then sweeping more over the lid. I used it yesterday to wash A Natural Flirt over my lid/crease before patting it on more heavily onto the inner lid. I'm glad I got it.

I can't get over how much I adore Après Chic; it's the perfect shade on me. A warm, corally red with a great finish. I like Hot Chocolate too, but it's definintely a bit cool on me. It doesn't pull brown at all - just cool plum. It looks best on me with burgandy liner to warm it up and deepen it just a bit.

Wow, Hot chocolat looks beautiful on you!
It seemed to brown to me in person, but on you it looks a nice plummy brown.
What is your MAC colouring?

Just wanted to weigh in on my items that I have gathered up in the past week. My fave out of everything is Après Chic l/s, what a gorgeous relaxed daytime red! Similar on me to Chanel Vendome, but a touch softer. Hot chocolate pulls VERY 90s brown on me if I do more than one pass of color, which is a bummer as I was hoping for an easy straight out of the tube HG plum, but it did look smashing when I blotted it and then wore Docile l/g over the top to sweeten it up. Haute Altitude looks kind of wrong on me...like I'm a grown ass woman trying to be Strawberry Shortcake. But I'm commited to making it work since I am bored with my other MAC pinks at the moment. Silver Birch is a crazy sparklefest! I am usually A-OK with all textures of MESs, but I find this one to be way too jazzy for the color that it is. I guess I just need to keep hunting Cloudy Afternoon since that is what I apparently really want, so if anyone has one that they are willing to let go of PLEASE PM ME!!! I've been hunting it for almost a year now! This release of Stereo Rose is much more orange, and with glittery bronze veins, than my last one. My old one was quite pink, and I believe that the darker veins in it were reddish, not sparkly bronze? Anyway I'm going to have to return it unfortunately, guess I shouldn't have swapped away my old one! Bird in hand and all that :/ I am still trying to resist Amber Glow, but I think I'm going to break soon.....maybe I'll exchange my SR for it....

I have been using the 286 brush (same duo fiber but with a tapered tip) and IT IS THE BEST BRUSH IN THE UNIVERSE FOR UNDEREYE CONCEALER! In my opinion anyway.

I hope you're able to make HA work for you, but in the meantime, that is hilarious!

Silver Birch was also a glittery mess on me. I also agree that this release of SR is much more orange. Its the main reason why I skipped.

I had a feeling it was going to be an HG nude for a lot of darker and cooler toned folks! The brown shows pretty strongly on me, which is pretty dramatic, but if I use the pale pink balm on top, all the lovely mauve and plum starts to come out. So versatile. Even still, I'm having trouble picking a favorite lipstick - so many of the colors are perfect for my skin tone, with all that yellowish peach and apricot - even Apres Chic is sort of a yellowish red (without pulling straight orange). Last year's Naturally lipsticks were all unwearable for me - too cool toned and pastel - so it's nice that this year's crop feels tailor-made for the 'ole NC lovin'.

It's really interesting to see how the same lipstick can look so different on people. On me, nc15-20 it is very dark greyish plum, very unusual colour :) Luckily no brown. The other lipsticks were all way to warm on me, like the blushes. Too bad about the colour, amber glow had a great texture I thought. I also got a fireside with a lot of purple and a silver birch, which surprised me. Quite a few things for someone who wanted to skip the collection ;)

I am loving Hot Chocolate! It's definitely a unique color and something I don't have in my arsenal yet. I bought Snob last night (I wanted a light pink besides Angel), but this color looked horrid on me! I'll be swapping it for Haute Altitude later tonight.
