Hey Everyone, I tried to like Strong Woman, but, I am not a fan!!! I tried it once and I just can't rock with it!!! I think it's the red undertone I don't like!!! I am more of a blue based purple girl ; )...I guess it will collect dust :thud:

Try selling or swapping it on here. Don't let it go to waste!

So what happens if you return new items? Do they toss them too???? I have a Haulte Altitute and an Apres Chic I want to return, both brand new. I already offered here and nothing so I was thinking of returning them but not if they are going to kill them!!!

Do you have Seductive Intent from the Taste Temptations collection (or maybe Violetta, I don't have it but I think it's similar)? I tried layering it over Strong Woman and it looks pretty good I gotta say. I was looking for the perfect blue based purple, and I too thought Strong Woman was too red, and Seductive Intent was too violet/pink but layered together they were lovely

I don't know if this has been mentioned but the New Maybelline Vivid lipsicks its a color called Hot Fushcia its pretty close to Pink Pigeon except different finishes.

super quick swatch of Strong Woman. Definitely a wearable purple/magenta

Absolute Power is different enough from CIS, more Cherry red, more pink. A mix between LG and CIS.

This must be one helluva heavy swatch.

It looks like it, yes. It is really dark--I think most would find it comparable in tone to Mac Unflappable. If one is using in on the face, one has to go soooooo lightly with a brush. It's best to use a duo-fibre but also to wipe the brush down a bit before you put in on your skin (esp if you are pale). Mac Taupe Shape is nowhere near as pigmented--not by a long stretch. In the end, Mac Taupe Shape is more usable for someone like me, who typically gets ready really fast in the morning. They's be fewer mistakes with the Mac.

Strong Woman is so pretty on me! I am so glad I got it. It was kind of an afterthought thing. Of all the lipsticks I've purchased in the last 6 months (or ever), only two have I liked straight away: Strong Woman and Deeply Adored. Every other lippie I've tried has given me pause and I have to convince myself it's wearable. I don't have a lot of lip liners so had to use Nightmoth which didn't look awesome, but it wasn't wretched. I immediately went to Ulta (where the lippie was complimented) to look for a suitable liner. I highly recommend Strong Woman for those with gorgeous NC45 skin!

They had a cruddy selection, but I think I got Currant, Prune, Espresso, and Plush Red from NYX. I hope they work. I should have texted you for assistance LOL.

I'm not going to lie, I used to do that a long time ago. I don't anymore because I'm a nail polish fanatic and have definitely learned my lesson. But honestly, lots of people go to nail salons and they use the polishes over and over again so what's the difference? That's part of the reason I don't really get pedicures!

So if anyone is looking for posied and taupe shape blushes my pro store has them in stock, I think 6 or less. They also have all the strength lipsticks in stock excpet firm form and Ap.
