The mineralize lip balm give me 0 color. But still I bought two of the same- pure and tender because it feels good on the lips not sticky. I chose the colors that looked pretty in the tube due to the non color pay off. I like the coral looking one too but passes as I have so many lippies that color. Oh!the deeper plum shade did yield a slight tint....
Upon the urging of Prettypackages, I only purchased one MLB, Nice & Simple and I love it. It's a bronzy gold that complements my nudes. I've worn it with Warm Companion and other light shades. It's also provides a pretty wash of color on its own.

I don't work in a normal office, so i can usually wear whatever i want, blue violet, teal, frosted forest green, to hang out at the local café. But, for example, when i'm meeting a client, especially for the first time, i'll wear a sensible "normal" color. I want them to think i'm competent, not wacky. I consider Hot Chocolate and Double Shot to fall into that "safe" range, along with warm pinks and pinky peaches. I don't wear red, orange, or bright/hot pink in any circumstance, because i look terrible in them.

But i know many people have to conform to some standards in their place of work, where safe or "normal" colors are de rigueur. So, i say, crack out the fun colors when you're not there!
Great advice! Thank you lilinah. I've even added purples to my stash--getting pretty wild

I'm going to get careblend. Where are you putting AG? On your cheeks?
I may try Careblend too. I tried Studio Fix Powder + Foundation and it was awful---rather I think I'm the problem, not the product. It just seems to require a good bit of tweaking to get it right on me, and I'm not too fond of a matte powder look. I went from Face & Body (the ocean) to Studio Fix Powder + Foundation (the desert) when I really wanted something in between.

Try Studio Sculpt + Sheer Mystery Powder. This will give you a very natural look, but not overly dewy.

There are also a couple of great sales going on too. One with Zoya and another with A England. I took part in the sales and it will be my first time trying both brands.
Nice CC--took me a minute but I got it--must be the NP fumes.
