Well, as i've said, i don't wear red. But one of the closest colors i ever got was Revlon Velvet Touch Lipstick in
Moonlit Wine (Frost 43). It's a semi-matte dark plum-red with gold shimmer from the late 1990s. I like the contrast between matte and shimmer... like
Firm Form. I think it succeed on my neutral coloring because it's a cool base color with warm shimmer, so it straddles the line between warm and cool like my skin does. Last time i took it out it was still good but i've hesitated to wear it 'cuz i dread using it up.
Apparently Three Custom Color Specialists made up a copy of the formula (i looked it up a few years ago), however, at $60.00 for 2 tubes (sheesh, used to be $50) i haven't been in a hurry to get it made. Additional tubes of the same color are $21.50 if they're ordered at the same time - they recommend getting 2 more, so the average prices comes down to $25.75 per tube:

But i don't wear that much of the same color. Sigh.
They will also blend discontinued eye shadow, blush, concealer, face powder, and other products. They prefer you send them a sample, so they can work from the original.
Why, lookee there, they also have a formula for
Lavender Whip in their archive... and for
Grid... and
Lust...
