I got off the phone just now on the 1-800 mac no and tried to see if Year of the Snake is available for phone in order since I read few pages ago someone was able to do this. The CSR said the YOS is going to be available ONLINE TOMORROW. And I asked about Archie's and she said "later this week". There's just no centralized and uniform info on this

They removed the update heart on the site form on the entry page online. That would not have done that if it was being released "later this week". If its not released by tomorrow afternoon i'm going to be very irritated. Going on vacation soon and I want the stuff on my want list before I leave. :/

The thing is, the event isn't until the 8th-- and I'm sure everything I wanted from this collection would be sold out! To order online and skip the event... or wait until the event and HOPE that they have what I want?!

Back in the dark ages when I worked for MAC at Henri Bendel we required a $50.00 deposit to attend new collection events which was of course redeemable in any products. We used to have to call our clients and try to get them to book - Oh how times have changed.

How can they require a $50.00 purchase if you don't have to prepay? What if you don't like anything?

I am in same situation except mine is worse...my Archie event is FEB. 14th!!!!!???
My plan is to buy my absolute must haves the day I see it online...whenever that is!!!??? I will save things I am unsure of/BU's for the instore event.

My appointment for the event is also on Feb 14, but they are allowing me to put on hold all of the items I like. They say they will only do this for the ladies who have signed up for the appointments
This is the Bay in Canada, but maybe if you ask them to hold some stuff they will.

I think it's pretty, but I have overloaded on reds starting with Marilyn. I'm going to skip and hope it lands in CCOs.

Some of us are on Pro, some aren't. Lately MAC has been releasing collections on the regular site as well as the Pro site at the same time, so your efforts are not in vain

We are *likethis*. I got AP as well.

Haven't used that either yet, or Runway Red which I found at my CCO a few months ago.

I am trying to behave and cut way down on lip products in general, save for pencils.

I have all of the Marilyn lippies plus backups, and the only ones I've used so far are Scarlet Ibis & Deeply Adored..... Once each.
