Yesterday I was priviledged to take a look at upcomming Guerlain collections.
There will be new nail polishes and lip glosses coming.
Then pre-summer Terracota collection.
Main summer collection has a big powder, same style wooden compact like past years, believe it is called Terra Nerolia or somerthing like that and the wood top had pretty reddish pattern on it, looked like tribal style. The powder was not pictured open so we can only guess what is inside but loved the compact.
Did not see pictures of any new quads. :-(

Funny, I was thinking that the only staple in their line that Guerlain hadn't reformulated/ revisited was their glosses. The bronzing products aren't of much interest to me, but I did fall arse over tea kettle in love with the Terra Inca radiant powder a couple of years ago and if there's something else like that, I might get tempted again.

So excited to see it! Of course, this means I'll also have to start stalking eBay to try to find one at a reasonable price if I love it as much as pictures lead me to believe I will.
I received my Parure de Nuit bought through eBay this morning, actually- less than a week for me to get it from Singapore, wrapped with a loving care that blew my mind. And when I opened it... that sweet smell of Guerlain violets in the air. It is really lovely and I'm very happy to say that I was able to track it down. As much as I can't wait to try it, I'm also loving watching the light play off that slightly "glazed" surface it has.

Winthrop reported a few posts back that Izzy's is supposed to get Sakura this spring - March I think she said. I haven't found it yet on ebay, which is a bit surprising. Keeping my fingers crossed we can get our hands on it!!

It is gorgeous. It has a bit of colour on me, although it's a bit soft to work as a blush on its own, it just takes my breath away. Now I feel like I need Sakura to add to my collection of pretty Guerlain boxes with small colour-coordinated brushes. That's my excuse this week.Oh you found it!! Yay!! Isn't it gorgeous?

I don't know Izzy's at all. I'll have to check if they ship here. One thing I thought of that I wish I'd checked when I was still living in Toronto was to see if any local stores catering to the Asian market brought it over. Toronto has a very large, quite affluent Asian community (several, really) and there are certainly higher end shops in the suburbs that offer items targeted to the Asian market. If I were still living there, I'd definitely think about checking it out.

Sorry it's taken me this long, I wanted to crop and watermark the pictures, don't want them stolen. Here are a few pictures of the Sakura blush, I will post a review on my blog tomorrow or the day after. It's so pretty, but I'm not finding it very pigmented, I had a hard time trying to get the swatches show up. Will try again tomorrow and see if it works better on my face.
