I'm definitely getting the eyes! I got last years fall eyes too. Skipped the spring tho (fall is so much better)!!!
I also didn't get the spring ones, but do love the descriptions of the fall 2013 ones! I got both palettes from fall 2012 and I think I will get both again if I can get a cp. Thanks for the info!

They eye palette sounds great!
I hope the colours will be what I am imagining them to be!

And I totally agree with you, Ladyarwen and HoneyMilk on the 20-aged somethings guys! There are obviously enough exceptions, but I've met too many immature guys in that age category.
Somehow I just seem to attract them, arrgh! I guess it's because I'm looking much younger than my age (and I always say that mentally I am still stuck at 22).

YESSS! Thanks erine1881! They will BOTH be mine!
Said it in the new thread but will say it again... I think of all the Posh Paradise PP's still in my fridge and how I could've replaced them all with one handy palette! UGH I LOVE these things! MUCH more travel friendly which suits me to a TTTTT!!

Their marketing is definitely skewing younger than it did for a while, although waaaay back when, MAC was the most adventurous brand out there (more in a camp/drag/rave glamour way than just straight teeny bopper, though).

Interesting fact I got talking to to some longtime managers: The actual largest percentage of MAC customers as of last year, are women in their late 30's and 40s. I supposed they're all women who started out with MAC in their teens and are still brand loyal.

I think all this youth marketing is more to try to bring in a new wave of younger customers who hopefully will turn out as loyal as the women who are still coming back time and again for basics and perm favorites. Also, let's face it, there's so much retro stuff out there that reminds us older gals of the 80's and 90's in the LE collections - I bet it's very appealing to the customer base just out of nostalgia. I sure bought Hot Chocolate because it reminded me of a color I had way back when.

Whatever MAC is up to, I'm sure it's been strategized long term, that's for sure - EL is run by some real savvy folk all around.

Yeah! I do think some of these collections are very retro. I would love to know what brand or brands do appeal to a younger crowd out of curiosity.

They do the best job of creating a different "personality" for each of their brands, I find.

I love the sound of the Fall palettes, but I really hate lip products in palette form. Wish I could buy all the dark colours as individual shades, because they sound beyond gorgeous.

Maybe this is in the wrong place, but I was recently at my local counter to see if they had any stray pans of Coygirl (no such luck!), and one of the MAs told me to keep up to date with new collections because a new blush would be coming out in the "spring" that was very similar to Coygirl.

Granted, I've never actually owned Coygirl--it was one of those items I always swatched in store but never got around to purchasing--but I've gone through color stories for all the upcoming collections, and I have no idea what blush she could have been talking about.

My BEST guess is Pink Buttercream from Baking Beauties (???). But I wasn't thinking it was going to look like Coygirl... Does anyone have any idea what she would have been talking about? I feel like I'm missing something...

Can someone recommend a good bronzer brush please?

Thanks.
It depends on the bronzer. Different bronzers require different brushes to perform at their best:

- Matte bronzer: I'd go with the 187. It allows you to pick up the right amount and evenly blend out the product.

- PLW bronzer: As these are more powdery, I use the 174. It's incredibly soft, thus the powder dust (excess) is reduced to a minimum. It's also a very large brush, allowing to apply the product in just a few strokes.

- Bronzers with glitter/shimmer: You want a dense brush that not only picks up the micro-glitter, but also diffuses it evenly on your face. I recommend the 167 or the 183. The flat top works really well for that purpose.

- Bronzers with color shades (e.g. the bronzer from the Art of Powder collection or the Vera pearlmattes): Those are very hard pressed powders, thus you want a brush that allows you to pick up enough product. I usually use the 189 as the synthetic fibers pick up more product. The 130 also works well, though it is tiny, which makes it more difficult to apply it evenly on the face.

- MSF bronzers: I love the 131 for MSF bronzers as you can "paint" them on, while blending out the edges at the same time. As MSF bronzers can be very pigmented, the 131 is also ideal as it does not pick up too much product. Alternatively, the 184 will work too for darker bronzers (like Earthshine) on NW palies (NW10-20).
