Also, to everyone sharing stories and pictures of their beloved furr babies. I thank you all so very much. I'm still so very depressed over losing my Shetara and my other four that your stories have made me laugh, cry and feel as if I have known all of you for so long...like we've been good friends forever. There is not a better feeling in this world that to know not only do we love makeup, but we have a love for animals of all kinds here.

What a cutie! What is her name and what type of bird is she? I am a bird lover also!! We have finches. We only had four for awhile and then took in two new babies and they keep having babies. They do the nasty like they're bunny rabbits. We now have 12 finches and my mom goes crazy when we let them out to stretch their wings.

This is my pet bird <3 Her colouring makes it look like she's always wearing blush, soo cute!

Here are my finch babies. This was taken on New Year's Day 2013.
From left: Clementine, Thunder, baby Opal, Cyd, Henry and in the corner Clover.
Missing were mom and dad (Oliver & Violet our new babies who do the nasty constantly) and Daisy. Now we also have added
Royce, Rhys and Sutton our newest editions. I need to try and take a family photo, but it's hard because they are always flying around.

Thanks! Her name is Luna (named her after the dots she has all over the underside of her wings), and she is a female cockatiel (her colouring is cinnamon).

Finches are cute, they had some at the vet and they made little squek toy noises! Super cute!

Luna is a beauty!!!! I have always wanted a cocktatiel, but for some reason we always seem to get finches. I did have a parakeet a long time ago (I was a teenager). His name was Tony and he was a romanatic who would say my name. I taught him to talk sweet nothings to me and insult my brother! Nah. Just joking. I did teach him to talk tho. He caught diabetes somehow and passed away after 3 years. I still miss him.

Mine have all been feral strays also, except for my very first cat when I was six. Whiskers we found in a pet store. He was the pet store owner's cat (I think) and when my dad said we wanted him, the owner said take him. He was only a few months old and totally adorable. Whiskers grew up with me until his untimely passing at age 15 in 1989. I still miss him. I miss all my babies.

Totally feral stray who has turned into the most giant cuddlebug possible over time.

I hope Plum Fun lipglass is re-promoted this year because I just discovered mine is going bad. It smells like crayon.

With all the awesome furry baby pics I had to join in and share mine, this is Lola and she is the most loving, silliest doggie I've ever met. She has a huge personality and she has become one of my children.

I am sorry to all of you who have lost your babies, I really understand how hard it must be to deal with the lost and initial shock of it. But think of all the great times you had with your furry babies. I almost didn't get my Lola because I know how hard it is for a child to loose a pet and I didn't want my children to go thru that; but my husband convinced me that the years of love and companionship would out weight that, and that if she is to pass we would be glad to have had those years with her. So needless to say here we are she just turned 3 and has been a very important part of our family since the day we got her.

Interesting -- I have been wearing Mineralize Satin Finish in NW20.

I wanted a couple of new foundations so the MA suggested Face and Body for a dewier look and Studio Fix Powder Plus for a more matte finish. I love them both and they work with my skin perfectly.

The Face and Body is C1 and the Studio Fix is N4. Glad I got help from a professional -- I wouldn't have picked those shades.
