Thanks! I'm loving both lipsticks! Ronnie Red is actually a red I don't look horrible in and Boyfriend Stealer is dark but doesn't make me look too gothy if applied lighty. So happy with them.

it does! it's funny because DLG is also satin and it does not dry out my lips

O.k. Not a fan of BB. Who said it needs exfoliation.oh boy it needs a lot of that. Satins do not give me this problem but this one does. Not so sure that I needed a BU of it which I ordered from nordies,but at least nordies has free shipping returns. Will try it again tomorrow after I prep my lips today. Even the first candy yum yum did not give me that

I'm going to exfoliate morning and night for a couple more days before even attempting that lippie again. Such a shame too because the color itself is quite pretty!

do you think lip balm makes the color apply lighter on your lips? I feel like when I do it, it looks lighter and the lipstick does not last as long. However, my lips can't tolerate this lipstick without lip balm.

Wow! Your makeup is flawless! I wasn't even thinking of BB, but you're making me reconsider. We have @ the same skin tone.

Oh my gosh, Betty Bright looks so great on everyone that I was having serious skipper's remorse earlier today...and then I played around with my Watch Me Simmer, VG Nicki, Coral Bliss, and my OCC liptars and I think I got close enough with a couple combos! I'm also having a weird complex where I have to have the same number of items with Betty as Veronica BECAUSE I'M MAKEUP CRAZY! There, I said it.

I can't wait to get the rest of my goodies on Friday!

Thank you! Yes, that's exactly what happened to me too.. it pulled more of a light pink kinda tone (rather than a bright coral) with lip balm applied underneath. But BB by itself is so flaky without lip balm, I can't deal! LOL. I had no issues with longevity though. I'm not sure what lip balm you used, maybe try burts bees, it works well for me .
