Hi makeupites .. So, today I purchased my first NARS product! I bought "persia' eyeshadow and NARS light reflecting setting powder (loose).. I saw all the rave about it and decided to buy it. I went to Sephora's this morning and tried it on, I really love it!! For my first purchase, I am absolutely thrilled

What are your thoughts on Persia? I'm eyeing that one. It looks like a shade I'd like.

Keep it neutral. it is more professional. Caramel Sundae, and light gloss. I'd probably skip lipstick so you don't have to worry about it fading.

Thanks ladies for the best wishes! I think my interview went pretty good. I could have said a lot more about myself but I don't think I did anything or said anything wrong. Anyway I decided to go with my Glinda Oz pallet for the eyes since I have worn that more than my AG quads and am more familiar with it. I wore the Flatter Me Pearlmatte though which I love and the Cream Soda blush. I wore Angel lipstick with Mall Madness over. Now it's just the waiting game. It will be about a week before I hear anything back. :/

I'm SO glad i'm not the only one who is still ordering from the collection

(even though my wallet isn't giggling) I decided to purchase oh, oh, oh lipstick, summer sweetheart and kiss and don't tell today, because I couldn't decided between the two l/g's.

I'm also still waiting on Slow Nordie's as well for my Betty Bright *sigh* took them two days to finally ship and I can't even track it. So far I have now 11 items from the collection...

I've just never been this so in love with a mac collection before.

wee update. flatter me (light part) looks excellent all over the face on me (nc43/matchmaster 6.0)
doesn't look shimmery or weird. in fact, i think the silk stocking analogy elegant used was quite apt....
i wore it over a little bit of prep and prime skin enhancer in recharge in some areas, the mickey contractor skin corrector in other areas. strangely didn't feel i needed any concealer or foundation!

I am so in love with Ronnie Red. I do not wear red much. Marilyn's Charmed I'm Sure is actually my first red that's not a trial drugstore red (which is usually garrish on my skintone) that I am not afraid to lose. RR forever changed how I look at reds. I already have a BU but I want to get more. Hopefully they repromote it again in the future.

I am really loving daddy's little girl! I need to back it up if I get the chance! Boyfriend stealer is dark on me but I like it ! I was so excited to try it on that I just put it on top of daddy's little girl lol it turned out to be a nice purple combination, sort of reminded me of the way strong woman looks on me. Betty bright is light but bright! I had some problems with application with this but I have nothing like it so ill make it work. I didn't end up going to the preview even on the 5th, I can't justify spending anymore when I got a lot of expenses coming up :/ also, I think I might've accidentally thrown away my Archie's pin! Ughh!! Can't find it anywhere :/

Just got my last AG box from nordies and freaked out cuz i couldn't find RR in the box..i was seriously upset and ready to call when i went through the paper again and found it. I hate the way they do their packaging but I'm so happy everything was in there. RR lippie is so pretty!!!

I haven't used them yet. I had them delivered to work and opened up the box here.

I totally agree! I ended up buying 3 Ronnie Reds.

It's the 168, 167, and 226 that have some some bristles splayed. The 226 isn't as bad as the other two. I'm wondering if maybe it was a return? (I ordered after the restock)

I should say it's not like the brushes are massacred or anything...I'm just normally very careful with my brushes and have never purchased a new one from MAC (included SE sets) and had them arrive this way.

@honeymilk: They are really soft and nice, so that isn't an issue. I think I am going to give them a nice wash tonight and see if I can reshape them back a bit.

On the positive side: They are totally stinking cute!

I decided to head back to my MAC store today and picked up Mall Madness and Girl Next Door. I paired both with Current lip liner. I tried to like Boyfriend stealer but I think it was too dark for me. I may give it another try this weekend.

I don't think returned merchandise is resold. It wouldn't be very hygienic.

Awesome! I want to say if MAC decides to make another color permanent, they should totally make it Ronnie Red, but I feel it would make RR less special if it's so easy to get. LOL.

I have the same problem with 168 and 167

, the 226 and the other eyeshadows brushes are better quality.
It is a shame because I purchase several years ago (4 years ago) the Smashbox xmas travel brush set for 36$ and they are better quality.
