I usually put swatches on my inner arm, which is pretty pale, but this time, because it's easier to photograph, i put the swatches on othe side of my arm that gets a bit of sun, so it's darker. But I'm still pretty light and i know from everyone's photos that skin color (light/dark), skin tone (warm/cool), lip color, and, no doubt, body chemistry all make a big difference in how colors look on us.

Wrong Spell is in my makeup box with the other plum glosses, and it looks plummy to me on its own. So I was surprised at how brown looked next to these other two.

The one in the middle is Dark as Night from the Styledriven collection. Both it and Wrong Spell from Venomous Villains have a goodly amount of shimmer. As you can see from my sig line, i like shimmer. However, DaN gives fuller coverage, so may be a bit truer to tube color.

Additionally, based on my swatches and on lip swatches on line, Feelin' So Good is both pinker than the other two and has less sparkle. It's also a bit sheer, so one's own lip color will affect how it looks. I would think that FSG would look quite different on your lips than on your arm.

How sticky is the PLW formula in the DaN gloss? I never got any of those b/c I was afraid of the stickiness but I loved the DaN color...

Btw, does DLG lean more pink or purple? On 50% of the pictures is pinkish, on 50% it's purplish. I'm hoping it leans more purple, this is how I imagine DLG would look like in real life: http://2.bp.blogspot.com/-UgX93o33Y_4/UQhuJ_0YFmI/AAAAAAAAAk8/ie2bQ7G9xEE/s1600/Lipsticks.jpg Credits to Lauren Clark But now I'm not so sure DLG will look like that. :eek:hboy:

Think it depends on your skintone. On me its a fuschia tinged pink. I'm pale with yellow undertones. Seductive Intent and Outrageously Fun are purpler than DLG on me.

Found this on allure magazine's Instagram, they said these brushes will be out this fall..I'm interested to see how they work
Thank you for the review! I plan on using them this weekend on my trip. Thanks for sharing! At first I thought the middle one was a mac toothbrush lol
Interesting! I wonder if a baby toothbrush would work for the time being. Or a soft brow brush...

It also leans more fushia pink on me as well.

Is DLG close to SI? I was thinking it was more close to Night Blooming? I have SI and won't keep it if that's the case!

Thanks girls. I don't want a fuchsia pink, so I guess it's a skip. :(

I tried DLG today and it was more purple on me(NC30), a light purple. I'm shocked because it looks hot pink in people's pictures. It's not what I expected, but I do very much like it.It was a nice surprise.

yay! i have that shade but didn't think of it!
thank you!
i detest glitter on my cheeks, but i didn't find the pearlmattes to be sparkly at all. maybe how they appear depends on skintone?

i agree with aradhana. I do NOT wear highlighters or any shimmer blush and i love these. I am very fair (NC15) so maybe it does depend on skintone. i have used them both and lightly added a blush over the apples of my cheeks after but there is no sparkly, glitter look when i use it. :)

Any dupe ideas for GND? I don't want to go hunting it down, I feel like I should have something this color? Maybe Pervette or You're Perfect Already?

Here are BB, DLG, &RR. On top of BB I'm wearing Chanel's Candeur to soften the color a bit. I loved how that came out. They're all winners in my book. I also have Prom Princess and Veronica's Blush. I've been having a lot of fun with this collection and although I spent too much, I don't regret any purchases.
