I know this is a super big favor to ask, but I'm going to put it out there. Is there anyone who can text me if this launches for the plebians? I'm feeling so incredibly ill & I can't stalk, I'll spare you all the details. Please & thank u.

I've never tried Lip Erase, so i don't know how well it sets or if it ends up blending into the lipstick a little...

I'm always careful when MAC calls a lipstick "purple". I love purple (TEAM PURPLE!), but Seductive Intent was clearly more fuchsia (i.e., an intense cool/blue pink), and not particularly purple (it would need more blue to go there), so i skipped SI. (in color theory fuchsia is a jot bluer than magenta / magenta is a jot redder than fuchsia - they are side by side in some color wheels.)

I am getting Heroine, however. One of the lovely MUAs at my local MAC is setting aside one each lipliner, lipstick, and lip gloss. It isn't blue violet enough for me, but it think it'll be purple enough. I doubt i'm getting any other lip products from this collection, although i hope i can test Silly lipstick.

A couple lip smacks later and all I need from this collection is Heroine lipgloss x 2.I rarely use lipliners with my glosses and they did not get the eyeshadows in yet. I am revamping my in dimension list to add a few more eyeshadows and will also pick up a few more from N&M so that should suffice.

I think this will be the last collection I basically stalk around for. And probably the last products I purchase from MAC for a while. Im not pleased with the process and preferential treatment the pro members get over the general public especially with this particular collection. The collection has barely been promoted (we're getting mostly buzz and speculation) and when its finally launched, you have to all but kill yourself just to get the product you've been eyeing(through leaked images).

Excuse my rant but I am not a happy loyal MAC customer right now.

i think the heroine l/g is a deeper purple than mirrored plum gloss!! i cant wait to see swatches from u PRO buyers. im still on the fence about Ablaze becuz i got watch me simmer, impassioned n a persimmon color (from another brand) not to mention i have that orange liner-enterain me and maybelline vivid in electric orange!! i think im good wit orange lips lol.

I got this ysl glossy stain in no.30 .It is an amazing purple. I do not think i need mac herione lipglass,but mac is sure is a lot cheaper but I have to admit i am a fanatic when it comes to the ysl glossy stains. Check it out and let me know what u think. PLZ excuse the background and my eyebrows my daughter has been brushing her doll with my spoolly.

MAC Pro members pay a fee for the discount program. Keep in mind the average PRO member purchases considerably more during the course of a year. Generally discounts are offered by companies to professionals in a particular field who purchase products in bulk or more frequently than the average customer (ie wholesale prices for hair dressers or discounts because you work for a certain company)MAC began as a makeup line for Pro's. This launch is no different from any other LE launch, MAC is not big on advertisement So you probably won't see or hear anything coming from corporate in terms of new products.

I wouldn't say you're crazy, but Strong Woman and Heroine are not really similar colors. SW is much redder than H. I struggle to wear Strong Woman because it's so red, although it looks less red on some people. I think there were swatches comparing the two on the STRENGTH collection board...

I would agree the colors are very different. I have both and have only worn SW once, because it does have such red undertones. I feel like it is not the most flattering on me. Heroine however is a rich deep purple on me, and definitely a favorite in my collection. I would say if in doubt on an LE item purchase it, and you can always sell or swap it here if you change your mind.
