the problem here is that they sell out within hours of being out and the day it releases i'm going to be working a 12 hour shift so by the time i leave my job they're not going to be any left. Mac counters say they will hold them and then they mysteriously sell" and did not know it was on hold.

You can call a store on the west coast and order over the phone. Our stores open after yours. Google a list of numbers. Sometimes I can't get to a store either and I don't trust that they will hold things for me. If you call a Nordstrom the shipping is free (I think ) HTH

They received 9 Heroine lip liners and all were gone. She is going to try to get it for me on launch day.

That's what I thought when I saw it today. If I can find a cheaper dupe, why not right? I'm still going to pick up Heroine lipstick to pair it with. And I'm still on the fence about Silly too.
I might just pick up the lip pencil. Maybelline has a similar dupe for Silly lipglass I might pick up that one too.

Definitely! I'm so loyal to MAC lipsticks only lol. Silly is so pretty and is okay on my skin tone...but cool pinks tend to wash me out because of my hazel eyes
and it looks unattractive. I wish I could pull it off but warm tones are better on me. I tried on Heroine when it was first released and ended up selling the one
I bought...never again will I do that

I'm in love with the color, but my dry lips doesn't like the formula. I usually wear MAC matte lipstick with no problems, but this one is drying and can look chalky on my lips without a good primer or lipbalm. It's much lighter than Candy Yum Yum, more cool toned than Nicki (and matte instead of shiny). Elizabeth Arden Pink Vibrations is brighter and not matte. I don't own any other similar pink to compare it.
