The Mac stores at the downtown Bay and Robson locations in Vancouver, BC, still have everything although the Bay hadn't yet received the eyeshadows when I went in this afternoon, so you will be pleasantly surprised if you live in the area. I would advise people to go after work today. I went in intending just to test the Ablaze eyeshadow if they had it, expecting everything to be mostly gone, but everything was there (except, as I already mentioned, the eyeshadows at the Bay, but they may have arrived after I left).
The Mac makeup artist put the Ablaze and Heroine eyeshadows on me, and I was surprised how good they looked on. I had swatched them, and didn't really like the colours on my hand swatch, but they were really flattering on, especially Ablaze (I'm about NC-15 with grayish blue eyes). The Heroine eyeshadow looked more purply-grey-blue on me, which I liked, not over-bright. He put Ablaze all over the lid, and lined my eyes with Heroine. It looked great--I would never have bought them if he hadn't put them on my lids.
I was interested in Ablaze lipstick, which the MA tried on me, and it looked horrible on me--very clown-like--but it was very flattering in the lipglass. When I got home and tried on the Silly lipstick I bought at the first store, I was relieved that it was fine and not at all too bright on me, since I bought that just based on the hand swatch and thought if Ablaze was awful on me, Silly would be even worse as I was told it was brighter than Ablaze. But Silly was much more subdued on me, and looks nice, while Ablaze was super-garish. And the Silly liner and lipglass the MA tried on me with no lipstick were very nice as well, although not as good on me as Ablaze lip glass. So it's really hard to tell in advance what will work or not.
By the way, one of the MAs was wearing Silly over Ablaze lip liner, and that looked super cute.
