I ran over to my nearby MAC counter at lunch. They still had everything and it was dead because there's a freezing rain storm going on here (in freaking APRIL?!) so I ended up getting an impromptu mini-makeup application.

I bought Opalesse, because I'm a sucker for EDES and there is absolutely nothing even close to this colour in my collection. It's a chameleon colour like Zestful. Had to have it. I really don't have room for another large shadow but I knew I'd have buyer's remorse over this.

I explained about not loving Shape the Future and the MUA (who essentially redid my makeup using the shades we were discussing) suggested that I just use the light shade (not nearly as metallic as the lighter Def Def highlighter); she agreed that the darker shade was pulling very burnt orange on me. It can be made to work that way, but I have more flattering options in my stash already. The darker colour actually looks nice as an eyeshadow, although I think I remember reading that the EDSF aren't eye safe (which I hope means not eye-tested as opposed to known to cause irritation in the eye area). I'm wearing Blazing Haute with the lighter STF colour as a highlight and love it. I'm resisting buying BH because I have Fresh Honey and they're close enough.

Officially done with this collection and waiting for Temperature Rising!

I swatched Blazing Haute at the counter against Peaches, which I have, and just couldn't justify it either. The MuA agreed with me they looked almost the same except BH has more sheen to it, which is easy enough to add on top with Def Def or STF.

Opalesse was BEAUTIFUL, and I was so glad I ended up ordering it online (but don't have it yet).

Thanks for the tips about STF--that hasn't arrived yet, either, but I'm getting it n/c too for their mistake.

I let myself get talked into buying Zestful, Opalesse and Triple Impact when I went in to pick up STF and Definitely Defined. It was pretty much sight unseen since they didn't get enough product to make testers. The only tester they had of the eyeshadows was Dimensional Blue and I didn't want that one.

Wow! Macys never ceases to amaze me. I ordered a $350 nespresso machine from them online and when I opened the box I noticed they sent me an old floor model. The good thing is that you can return it at a store. Hopefully the things you want are still in stock.

Today I picked up Opalesse and Triple Impact. I wanted Zestful as well but they were sold out. The MA was really nice and she gave me a sample of Zestful. I played with the MSF but I didnt pick any up. I keep debating about them.... thats probably a sign that I should just skip them . and chk out the other MSFs from the mineralized collection.

My goodies came today! Got DD, FI and Smokey Mauve. I may pick up triple impact by months end after I play with these. It's my FIRST (I know, spank me) ED collection.

My original ED order was 4/5 blushes (skipped Bareness) and Dbl Def. When I placed my Baking Beauties order on Tuesday I added Zestful, Triple Impact, Smoky Mauve, Extra Silver, and Bareness. Today I went to my MAC store and purchased Shape the Future and a backup of Dbl Def because I've worn it every day since I got it and I MAY like it more than Whisper of Gilt which I never thought was possible. The point is, I have no self-control and I'm broke.

Completely unrelated but can I just say I'm still mourning the fact I didn't pick up Stolen Moment from the Glamourdaze collection. :( I was very well behaved with this collection and only got one blush in Fiery Impact. Quite proud!

Ummmmm I can't get my flaming chic blush to show up its so sheer I was hoping for a brighter color back to mac it goes I can get me a nars blush for that kind of money but I don't think nars have a pink that color anybody know of a decent brand that has a flamingo pink color I think sleek has one called flamingo if anybody have it can u please swatch it for me I'm do disappointed in this blush

Have you taken off the waxy layer with a q-tip? I did that to all my blushes from this collection and they worked so much enter afterwords.

yes I scrub it be its still to sheer for me I guess I like my blush to be a little bolder lol

I am so jealous hearing about everyone getting their orders and seeing the gorgeous swatches! I ordered only 2 blushes and haven't received them yet, I'm also waiting for MAC to put up Def Def and StF so I can purchase them! I can't imagine why they have not put them up yet....? If they take any longer I think I'm going to skip them all together, I got my eye on Nudes and Metallics and TR bronzers! ^_^

Got my goodies! Omg I am in love with Blazing Haute! I have nothing like it in my stash. I wore it with Light Year msf today :love: Amazing combo! Triple Impact is Gorg as well. RTP is def not as violet. I love them both! Zestful is soooo pretty. Can't wait to use it over my green mufe aqua cream. Should be getting Bareness next week. If I really like it I think I might grab At Dusk.

I still haven't worn my stuff. But for what it's worth I also haven't done my makeup in a couple days lol I still love the colors though! Have been debating on FC but since summer is almost here and I REALLY want those collections I think it's a wrap for me
