My ED items came today but I'm concerned about my Double Definition. I noticed some chips at the bottom and I'm kind of ok with that but is is supposed to look that separated in the center?

My goods from Hayley's, IED and some randomness just arrived. I'm so impressed with UPS. It's pouring rain here and they put all of my boxes in a clear plastic bag & left them at my doorstep. That's pretty awesome---must call to thank them!!!

Yes, I think so. Mine all look that way

Yet it doesn't seem to be a problem.

Can someone give me suggestions on how to wear Zestful? I usually wear neutrals but had to have Zestful and have no idea on how to wear it...

My small haul lol since it's my first one with extra dimension I wanted to ease into it. It's my first time with EDES too. I am thinking of getting Triple Impact and Zestful but I'll look at them in store. I got Smokey Mauve, Double Definition and Fiery Impact.

So i apologize if this has already been mentioned in this thread, but for us canadian girls who ordered online, anyone that ordered "definitely defined" online received "shape the future" in their orders instead because they screwed something up with the product codes online.

I was disappointed when I opened my box today and had shape the future instead of definitely defined. I called MAC customer service and they were well aware of this problem already, they're shipping out a definitely defined skin finish to me on Monday at no charge, and I get to keep shape the future EDSF for free as well. They were completely adamant to the fact that this was their mistake. Now I get all three EDSFs of the collection for the price of two. That is great customer service. Thanks MAC!

I didn't even want to wear MU back then.. I had a few lipglosses and a mascara but didn't really use them. I started wearing eyeliner (on the waterline) when I was 13/14 and around that time I started to wear black eyeshadow and that's all I wore for years. My NP obsession started when I was about 16 years old and my MU and skin/body care obsession when I was 17/18. I'm 21 now btw.
My eighteen year-old didn't start wearing makeup until she was 16 and she mostly wears lipstick and mascara now unless she's going out or doing something special. At 11 she was catching bugs, getting dirty and pretending she was a wild horse with her besties. LOL

My youngest is much girlier and grew up surrounded by a herd of teenage girls. I'm not surprised she wants to do some of what they do. She idolizes her big sis.

When I was 12, I had the entire collection of Avon Colorworks (I think that's what it was called) makeup which had the tagline 'not your mother's makeup'. One of my mother's friends sold Avon and gave me quite a bit and sold my mom the rest at cost. I wasn't allowed mascara or foundation but I had everything else. I wasn't allowed to wear it to school, but I could do what I wanted with it otherwise. If memory serves it was all cream products that were pretty sheer, but I had a lot of fun messing around with them. I think that's what got me started, really. I wore lipgloss in Grade 5 or so and starting wearing eyeliner to school at about 13. By Grade 9, I wouldn't have gone to school without makeup. Nor would any of my friends. I didn't start wearing foundation until my very late teens, and only then for a special occasion. I was well into my 20s before I wore it regularly.

I don't mind my daughter's interest, I just don't want her to think she needs makeup to look good. Young girls are naturally beautiful.

Maybe his wife or girlfriend is a Specktrette too and he knows how important those boxes are to you? @medgal: those pictures made my heart skip a beat. Nice! Enjoy!

Thanks! I'm excited to wear it.

Also, I am going to be buying an Opalesse backup. I am wearing Flaming Chic with Opalesse as a highlighter and it is absolutely beautiful. I love this eyeshadow because it can be used so many different ways!
