How is everyone liking Triple Impact? How are you using it dry/wet? I just got it on Saturday, but haven't used it yet.

I got my ED goodies saturday and that was some haul. It's quicker to say what I didn't get

So I didn't get Extra Silver and Dimensional Blue and the brushes cause I already had those. I was thinking about a BU of the brushes, but decided against it since it was already a huge haul. I also got Hi-Def Cyan Chromagraphic Pencil and Lip Erase. I've wanted Hi-Def Cyan for quite some time and I love it! I tried it with Heroine like suggested in one of the threads and it makes a gorgeous blue purple! I'm not sure about Lip Erase anymore after trying it on my lips. I did like it swatches, but it seems to settle into liplines and lipstick doesn't go on as nice as it normally does. I already tried all 4 EDES and they are great! Triple Impact, Zestful and Opalesse have a transparent quality to them that makes they great for neutral looks that still have a bit of colour. The transparent quality doesn't mean not opague, it's just the finish and I think they are meant to be this way. Smokey Mauve had a different finish together with Dimensional Blue and Extra silver and was more shiny and opague. I think my favorite is Opalesse, because of the duochrome. I didn't think I would like it so much as a highlighter, but it's fantastic! From the EDSFs I've tried STF and Double Def so far. I love Double Def as a bronzer highlight combo and STF as blush highlight combo. The darker parts are less shimmery and that makes them work as a blush/bronzer for me. I love the look of Def Def also and I can't wait to try it. The lighter part is lighter than any of the other EDSF and I was hoping for one that was lighter! I also tried Bareness and Fiery Impact blushes. I think the blushes are less pigmented than Mac's normal powder blushes, but I'm still really pleased with them. I'm very pale, so I have no problem making them show and the finish is lovely!
Wow! Great haul! I really want to order some shadows but I need to save my money for the other collections. I figure if they still have them available then I will purchase them at a later date.

Im not one to usually back up a product bc I rarely wear the same lippie everyday or even wear blush everyday but man I am wishing I had backed up Fiery Impact. I have been wearing it everyday & I just love it! I'll see if I can find another one bc at the rate, I can see me hitting pan pretty quickly! Lol

All I know is chinablaq is killing it with her Modelesque face! I went To get a pedicure in Berkeley and found out the shop was closed so what did I do? walk on down to the Mac store and what did I try on? shape the future. and what did i buy? it is gorgeous!! they had five left no fingerprints! I had no intention of getting anything when I swatched everything at Macy's but they Didn't have shape the future or definitely defined at that time. Oh and that is Eclair paint pot on my lids

Deep Diversion is one of my favorite fluidlines to use as a base.
Hmmm, Dark Diversion doesn't really show up on me as a liner so I was gonna pitch it or give it to my daughter. I may try it as a base. I've only ever tried Feminine Edge and that was patchy. I was thinking maybe it wasn't Blacktrack b/c it didn't seem super black. Of course she could have sheered it out.

yes, getting really tired of hitting the refresh button to see if they are there yet. My patience is running out........:smash:
They still have the SF available on Nordies if you wanted to get them there. I know STF and Definitely Defined is on back order but they still let you purchase it. It had an approximate ship date of April 19th

Between the ice storm knocking out powder and the internet going on the fritz I missed so many posts!

I'd hoped to do just that and place in the blush inserts that fit in the new duo palettes. However, last night, I popped a mineralized blush with the black casing still on, out of it's exterior case and even with the thicker palettes, they still don't fit.

So I ordered, just this morning, a domed Z Palette and plan to place a magnetic sheet on the bottom, then pop the black casings out of their exterior cases, place magnets on the plastic bottoms and put those in the Z Palette. Hopefully, keeping them in the little plastic casing on them will be enough support to keep the terra cotta interior stable.

Yes I posted that one. Personally I think keeping them in the compact tray and putting they in domed Z palette is the why to go as well. I wish they where on a solid try/base when being cured, but the waffle disk is flimsy at best. The eyeshadow are 36mm pans btw for the larger eyeshadows for the EDES's this time around (small blush size pans ^_^). The holiday ones where standard size 26mm.

I used a gel eye pencil as a base (Annabelle Smoothie Eyeshadow Pencil in Licoriche), so a paint pot would work just as well.

I find the duo chrome effect is stronger with the loose form, but these are a nice pressed version of these shades.

I wish I could order from them but I'm in Canada and they won't ship cosmetics to Canada

Not to doubt you, but did you mean Blackground? You look smashing in both pics! I might try a bold eye b/c of you.
Thank you! No, I used Black Track Fluidline. Mine is a bit dry so I don't use it as a liner. Instead as a base so it doesn't go to waste :)

:nods: Nice!!! Lightscapade is perm, so you can always get it at any time. That way you can play with all your new pretties now and get Lightscapade later!
Thanks! I didn't realize it is permanent, so I will be a good girl and not spend all of my money on highlighters this month! :)) I didn't intend to buy both the BB pearlmattes, either, but got a little over-excited when the collection went up online!

Just to let you ladies know, I placed an order for all 3 SF through the Canada's Mac customer service. Ordered all 3 last week, and just ordered a back up of DD today, minutes ago to be exact. Online inventory doesn't always match the phone order inventory. Shipping for pro members is $7 for up to 10 items coming to the US and its free for non pro members coming to the US. HTH :)
