I know. I was planning to use restraint via the formulas, but then you went and posted pics. My mind immediately left the building for all the pretty colors.
Okay. You're right. Cremesheens and Lustres. Not much coverage and lasting power. Soooo skip the Lustres?
eta: $hit I can't. That's half the lippies LOL I'd lose Flamingo and Razzledazzler (which I committed to after being visually assaulted while googling swatches). I'm team all lipsticks right now. Orange is a confident color for me. Except NO they all seem so work-friendly that I feel like I'm justified since I can't do these hot pinks in my stash.
MissTT, this time I will allow myself to be an enabler and agree that there are cremesheens and lustres I don't like, which let too much of my natural lip color come through in a bad way and feel drying, BUT there are good ones out there that are seriously excellent, like Flamingo (and that's not a color I can normally pull off, either), with tons of color payoff which are really buildable and controllable - I'd get so many different looks out of Flamingo, it was great - blotted, super shiny, etc. etc. I actually lost mine and have been glum about it, so yep, it's getting bought'ed here.
My main thing will be to try everything on, because a bad cremesheen looks yuck on me and a bad lustre is just pointless, no matter how nice the colors. I do think they all work great on young lips/young skin, but yeah, I'm not in that category lol.
