I love the two I got...especially Eclair. Pretty easy to throw a look together when you're pressed for time. This is one I did real quick when testing them out. Could have used a little more Eclair but I was in a hurry. Mooncake is more frosted but it wasn't too bad.

These were the two cakes I made for our morning meeting, I embellished a bit with the flowers on the mint colored cake because I live in Hawaii and thought a little nod to the hibiscus flower would be fun

I swatched the new LW with my old one.....just the slightest bit of difference...this one looks just a tiny bit more pink. I'm still good with it though
I went to macys on a HUMBLE at lunch time
need to pick up a full sized angled brush
(which by the way has finally allowed me to put on blush properly , i dont have clown/Saw face anymore)

Oh hon!!!! I hope she comes through for you - I know my MA has a locked drawer he keeps my orders in, so maybe she does the same and will be able to open it up when she comes in.I'm freaking out.
The sweet MUA at MAC who talked me into a "makeover" said she'd save the seven products on my list for me. So i didn't stalk and didn't rush down to my local MAC before they opened today.
I just called to confirm (my appt. is tomorrow AM). She's out sick and no one could find my bag of stuff. And of course Lavender Whip is sold out and it was Number#1 on my list. I hope she stashed it somewhere or i'm going to cry

I went into my local MAC today to have my face done. The MUA did a great job on my eyes, using regular products i probably wouldn't have chosen. She also used a cream blush that was on my "To Test" list and a lipstick i already have - which she didn't know until after she brought them to me.
I was considering buying a brush from the Baking Beauty collection, so I asked her what she thought of them. She thought they weren't as well-shaped or as dense as the regular brushes which are about the same price. So even though those aqua ferrules are so pretty, i passed on them.
I bought:
Glacé Mineralize Lip Balm
Éclair Paint Pot
Mooncake Paint Pot
In For a Treat Pearlmatte
Pink Buttercream Pearlmatte
I also tried on Confectionary Nail Polish. Very sheer, very pale, cool pink. Looks almost nude on me. Even two coats isn't fully opaque, but that's ok. I'm still thinking about it because i haven't liked any of the nude-ish nail polishes i've bought because they've all looked too warm toned on me. Now i know i need to get pale pinks rather than pale beiges, even though i'm not usually a pink kinda girl.
They worked hard to find a Lavender Whip for me. The closest one they could find is at a MAC counter in a Macy's about 40 miles away. Shipping is $8, which is cheaper than the gas would be to drive there and back in my van. They're holding it for me and I have until Monday to let them know...
