MAC Baking Beauties Collection (April 2013)

I went into my local MAC today to have my face done. The MUA did a great job on my eyes, using regular products i probably wouldn't have chosen. She also used a cream blush that was on my "To Test" list and a lipstick i already have - which she didn't know until after she brought them to me. I was considering buying a brush from the Baking Beauty collection, so I asked her what she thought of them. She thought they weren't as well-shaped or as dense as the regular brushes which are about the same price. So even though those aqua ferrules are so pretty, i passed on them. I bought: Glacé Mineralize Lip Balm Éclair Paint Pot Mooncake Paint Pot In For a Treat Pearlmatte Pink Buttercream Pearlmatte I also tried on Confectionary Nail Polish. Very sheer, very pale, cool pink. Looks almost nude on me. Even two coats isn't fully opaque, but that's ok. I'm still thinking about it because i haven't liked any of the nude-ish nail polishes i've bought because they've all looked too warm toned on me. Now i know i need to get pale pinks rather than pale beiges, even though i'm not usually a pink kinda girl. They worked hard to find a Lavender Whip for me. The closest one they could find is at a MAC counter in a Macy's about 40 miles away. Shipping is $8, which is cheaper than the gas would be to drive there and back in my van. They're holding it for me and I have until Monday to let them know...

that's the problem, she only accepts netspend reload pack that you have to buy from walgreens and cvs, i never used this method of payment and that's why i had no idea that she can get the money easy like that. this type of card use it only netspend cardholder who have an account with them. she request that you send her the pin and the copy of the receipt by her boyfrineds email( these two information are enough for her to transfer the balance to her netspend credit card). now when i contacted netspend they told me to send them the picture of the card and the receipt to start investigating this issue.

I think instagram should delete that account. I hope you never to that prepaid card stuff again - that's the first sign of troubled :( Craigslist scammers use this method, too. Paypal is the best bet.

I'm sorry this is happening to you!! My suggestion is if you still have the receipt from where you purchased the prepaid card then maybe you can contact the company and let them know someone has scammed you and stolen your money. Also I would take it to the police and see what can be done from there and show them the screen shots that you have. And the conversation you had with her. If you need more screenshots im for sure people will help you obtain them. And most important, when something does not smell right, don't go for it!! Make sure whatever you do, you leave a trail and record for just in case you have to dispute! Also talk to the other people you saw got scammed and see if you can all file a case together. If the police see a trend they will follow Pple are so gross, scammy hogs :/

I'm skipping as well. Nothing is calling to me. I already have Lavender Whip so other than that... meh. I have a Pro pretty close by to the Pink glitter is an easy get as well. Those were the only two things that I wanted when I went to the store on Thursday.

Yesterday I picked up the pink and purple lipbalms to go with RS and LW and I got lets skate pp. my girl gave me a big sample of the teal glitters so pretty! I'm wearing tonight and if I like it enough I will go back n buy them lol. still tempted on the np but I'm passing!

Report her as spam You might be out your money, lesson learned. If u can pay 100+ on a prepaid, just buy real thing from the actual store. No shortcuts Your probably going to get a bunch fake products. It aint worth it in long run

Careful with the lip balms...I have one from Après Chic and have used it no more than 5 times and whenever I open it the top is already full with product, I thought the little plug inside of the top was broken but it's not. It's not spilling out of the tube yet but it's quite annoying anyways.

I keep mine in a little container standing with caps up, so I can always squeeze out just what I need, rather than having a big glob lying in wait. Is yours oozing out through the seams in the plastic?

The blue can be duped well with Fade Into Hue from China Glaze/Avant Garden.

The bright teal is pretty, but there's an Orly one coming up that looks like it may be the same.

The only one I thought was a little different is the pale pink, but that one's sheer and not everyone likes that.

You can resist!
