MAC In Extra Dimension Collection 2013 (April 2013)

The 3 EDSF I ordered were delivered today. I like the way the colors look in the pan. Shape the Future has the finger smudges that were previously mentioned in this thread. I may exchange it. My Definitely Defined also has a small crack in it. None of the boxes were closed. So far, this collection has been a small haul for me.

• 235 Split Fibre All Over Eye Brush

I'm so happy to finally have the 235 brush. It was the only split fibre brush I wasn't able to get from the original Semi-Precious release. I think I may get a few of the EDES. I want to swatch them first. I've made zero effort to go see any of the recent collections in stores. I'm considering Zestful, Smokey Mauve, Opalesse and maybe Triple Impact. Eh. I'm not sure. I would like more EDES in deeper colors, like an emerald green, sapphire blue and terracotta orange.

I love Smokey Mauve, Opalesse and Triple Impact. Considering Zestful after purchasing the new Maybelline color tattoo's and seeing someone's swatches ( sorry can't remember the name's) with Zestful on top! Those deep colors would be lovely hopeful a R&D person from Mac reads this threads and takes your suggestion to heart!

I feel ya but I dont back up paintpots (well any cream product) that is because I know those go bad much faster than powder products. Im thinking about getting Let's Skate P/p.. we'll see

I hope they're listening, too! I think I will probably end up ordering those 4 colors without swatching them. They're the kind of colors I typically like. I don't know why I'm stalling.

What no blushes this time around CC? This has seemingly been the collection of messed up orders & products. Nevertheless, I love all of the EDSFs & the blushes. I passed on all of the EDESs but Zestful & Opalesse have been calling my name, and I've had nightmares about enablers enthusiasts like Yazmin chasing me with carts filled with EDESs. I have to stay strong.

I don't buy MAC blush. I love NARS, La Femme, and, most recently, Chanel more. The colors of MAC blush are beautiful, but they don't last long enough on me.

I won't be any help to you staying strong. I'm pretty sure I will end up with 4 of the EDES. I saw comparison pics of Stolen Moment/Smokey Mauve and Ready to Party/Triple Impact and they look different enough from each other to get. You know I'm all over green shadows, so I had no chance against Zestful. Opalesse just looks really pretty. Somehow all 4 are now sitting in my cart as I was typing this message.

Not if they aren't open they don't. They don't start start to go bad until after they're opened and exposed to air and other contaminants.

Yup! And just make sure store em in a cool, dry, dark place, like a hall closet.

Haha, sometimes i wonder why do i need so many eyeshadows when the lid space is such a limited area! I've been waiting for mac to get the single pro palette back in stock since forever, i wonder if they just stop producing it..

That's so true! Now that you mention the pro palette, it says 'sold-out' and not 'out of stock or 'coming soon,' which I felt to be odd. I had to get one from my local MAC store.

I added the double Pro palette and inserts into my cart yesterday to buy with RiRi Woo. I prefer having my makeup in palettes. It's so much easier to organize and I can see everything at once. I think I have enough single shadows now to start transferring into palettes. What are your tips to depot?

i never get to use my single shadows. i always go for the depotted shadows in the palettes.

I just ordered empty palettes from tkb trading to depot my PLW and mega metal shadows!
