Nova Scotia is Atlantic time. Eastern Standard Time covers Toronto, NYC, most of the East Cost but not necessarily all!

I think the issue is that the billing address must match the address where the bill is sent for the CC you're using. It makes sense if they're doing it to guard against CC fraud.
If someone is using a stolen CC they may not know the billing address of the person they're defrauding. That would be a red flag

My shipping and billing are often different because we have residences in two states. The billing address is one state but I spend a lot of time in the other
and always have things shipped to me there. Never a problem.

oh ok thanks I'll use my address then. I'm just trying to avoid the shipping fees.
