RiRi Hearts MAC Summer Collection (June 18, 2013)

I keep claiming I am going on a no-buy. I did it briefly before IMATS NY because I knew I planned to spend a lot. Then I somehow got back in to MAC and the lipstick damage has been insane (11 MAC lippies in maybe a month and a half....1 Burberry, 12 OCC lip tars at IMATS, 5 more since). I expected the OCC addiction...it started late last year, but otherwise I had been ignoring lipstick for YEARS...was a gloss girl and obsessed with eye shadows. Ironically, I HAVE successfully been on an e/s no buy except for the Inglot shadows I bought at IMATS. So apparently I did what many addicts do...I substituted my original addiction with something else! Still trying to convince myself that after the 23rd I am done! That's when I pick up my pre-ordered Temperature Rising lippies and when I order the OCC stained gloss lip tars but of course this darn RiRi collection had to pull me in! I will continue to TRY and fight the urge but RiRi Boy and Heaux are whispering in my ear.

lmao, my bf would look at me the same way, but seriously I have to go on a no make up buy. It's getting really crowded on my dresser and in my draw.

I am trying to be serious about not buying so much make-up but it is so hard

since you said you love occ. have you tried hoochie? I have never tried occ lip tars but they have some amazing colors.

I said the same thing. I said after I buy all the things I want this year I am going to stop buying make-up like I do. (My boyfriend looked at my with the I don't believe you stare).

lol I know...seriously! I keep telling myself, I need clothes, a new hairstyle, shoes, a nice trip but no nothing helps..all I need is to pass by a sephora or come here to know that Im not strong enough to walk away lol

I know what you mean! I think it's helped me to make a list of the things I really need or want, and keep it near my computer as a reminder that buying more makeup only prolongs when I can buy the big stuff. I didn't buy anything from In Dimension or Baking Beauties, and only purchased 2 things from TR. Not planning to buy anything from TT either, but AAO will be my wallet killer!

I did by from ED collection and I'm proud of myself from not buying anything from baking beauties collection. I will probably get 2 things from AAO and I will try to cut down on the TT collection so I can slurge for riri holiday.

I said the same thing and then I found myself checking forums and MAC to make sure some new collection doesn't come out that I don't know about. I remember when I used to have only one lipstick, 1 lipgloss, foundation and finishing powder. Now, I am lippie whore and can't get enough of cosmetics.

I remember those days too one of everything for all occasions lol now I have way too much blush. Sold a lot of lipsticks but still have too many

haha me too! its so weird, i ll see a top for the price of a msf and i ll be like thats exp, im not getting that but im willing to shell out hundreds on makeup go figure.

maybe i should just stick to major collections from mac, the ones that most ppl go crazy for like marilyn, archie, summer, holiday etc? and skip all the smaller collections. Whats the main collection for fall? Obviously riri is a must have, no way around that lol.

I'm loving the retro matte texture as well, so both of the other lippie for me too please! Decided to skip on BU of Riri Woo even though I love it! b/c I usually get bored of a color after it's gone anyways, so I'd rather let other people have it

Ladies I have 20 Mac lipsticks and only two of them are perm... hue and lustering...I've so busy with LE ones that I completely forget the perms.

Same here! Probably about a year after I got really into MAC was when I started buying perm items.

I got most of my perm lippies with B2M.We can only B2M for perm lippies here.So I can say that I have not bought
much from the perm

Now that I have all perm lippies that I want to have in my collection, I can only B2M for BUs.

I too have a lopsided ratio of LE vs perms. Gpt ALOT MORE LE's than perms but I'm slowly trying to change that. Some off the top of my head that I already have Faux, Snob, Please Me, Captive, See Sheer, Angel, Shy Girl, Neon Orange, Up the Amp, Violetta, Full Fucshia, So Chaud and Full Speed (sheen supreme). There are more but I can't remember all of them.

Next month I'm scheduled to get Honeylove and Velvet Teddy. I make sure I get them on the 1st of each month before the LE release dates so they're included in the budgetLOL.
