I wanted to update I scraped the top layer off my IF & it went from not pigmented to actually showing up really nicely! I'll try to wear it over the weekend & post pics in case anyone with my skintone is contemplating picking it up on the 6th

Or maybe they saw Sounds Like Noise didn't sell out and they became wary about overstocking on a collection with similar color. Just a hypothesis.

I have 2 SNL and I love it. I also got Tangerine Dream last night and if it looks like it's in the same family as SNL then I would love it as much.
I don't think so, only because collections happen so far in advance and are very hush hush. By the time there's any mention of it there's usually already a stock lined up and waiting. Halley Williams and Paramore are just famous enough to get an automatic buy from a lot of fans, but still pretty small that they didn't sell out.I think matchachoco has the right idea from a marketing standpoint. This collection is going to be released everywhere and MAC likely has stock coming out of their ears. If they released a huge amount and it was just sitting on the site waiting for anyone to come back and get it they likely wouldn't sell as much. People would go 'Well, I do like the colors but this other makeup collection also comes out and I want to buy a pair of shoes and - " and just decide to purchase later or maybe not at all.

But if they make the general public feel like "If I don't get it now I'll never get it and I'll have to pay HUGE fees for ebay and - !" then people are going to be waiting on the edge of their seats and rushing to check out.

Even better if folks can't get what they want because then the same principle applies but double. If you missed it and you really liked a color then you're going to hop on Nordstrom, Macy's, rush to a MAC store and buy it asap instead of waiting. MAC could produce enough stock for everybody but they can also produce just enough to ensure they have a successful profit margin. Even if someone buys and sells it on eBay MAC still got the 15 - 16 dollars originally.

It just reminds me of Riri Woo, there was all this hype and anticipation and rushing and now there's all this stock left over. Even with it being available at concerts, let alone all the artist collections that only go up online.

Hey, just wanted to know how much of the top layer did you scrape off? A little or a lot? Cuz I scraped off the surface and I still find it less than satisfactory... Wondering exactly how deep I need to go.

T's lips are so much lighter than mine. How Tarte and Trendy looks on her is how SNL looks on me. I'm guessing my lips are redder

Thank you everyone for your kind words about last night. I actually didn't even tell management. The one on duty last night wanted to write me up last time someone walked out. And I can't be written up cause I'm technically suppost to be fired. I got a bad score on a shopper. GM said next time I f'd up I'd be gone. So it was either pay it or get fired. I'd rather loose $20 than a whole job ya know?

That's horrible, I don't get where they even get off at blaming the poor server for someone else's actions. It isn't your fault if they do a dine and dash and shouldn't be disciplined in such a way because someone else is a thief.

I only scraped a little off and had used it 2x before; it was pigmented on the back of my hand, but when I put it on my cheeks tomorrow I will know if the brush can pick it up better etc
